Simple tracking to keep up with bike wear
Also has nice visual tools for setting handlebar alignment.
Can’t beat the price.
Functionality not there
Thus not useful at all.

Dear CycingGuy19911, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with our app. We genuinely appreciate your insights, and we apologize for any frustration you've encountered. We understand the importance of accurate data, especially when it comes to tracking your bike components. We are actively investigating the issue you mentioned about incorrect distance calculations and the inability to set accurate replacement dates for components. We however have a feature where you can set the service interval. We hope that you use the Recommend Service Life, that you’ll find when editing a component. Here you can approximate how long you expect your component to last until next service. We appreciate your feedback and will value it in our future development. In the meantime, if you have any specific details or additional feedback about the problems you've encountered, please feel free to share them with our support team at bikeapp@ceramicspeed.com. Your input is valuable, and it helps us prioritize improvements more effectively. Best regards, Mette Kirstine Josephsen Customer Service Manager
After four years still not ready for prime time
Too many simple bugs have not been fixed and the App Store shows it was created four years ago. The current version is 1.01 so apparently bug fixes are not a priority. This either needs some serious user needs assessment and updating or it should be removed by Ceramic Speed. Right now it is just an embarrassment.
Response from developer
Dear Rouleau, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences with our app. We appreciate your feedback and want to assure you that we take your concerns seriously. Your insights are valuable in helping us improve and provide a better experience on our app. We’ll try to provide you with a reply for all your points: 1. You should be able to input data in miles by navigating to -> Preferences -> Distance -> Choose unit -> Press save. Please contact bikeapp@ceramicspeed.com if you still need help. 2. It is correct that we don’t allow historical dates. As the complexity of calculating wear on your bike increases with more past data, we only allow a service after a component is registered on CeramicSpeed Bike App. Instead, we urge you to use the Recommend Service Life, when editing a component. Here you can approximate how long you expect your component to last, with your last service in mind. That being said, I have forwarded your request to our Bike App Development Team for future implementation. 3. Freeform naming of gear is a brilliant idea and has now come under our own wish list of new features. 4. We think time-based maintenance is important. We believe that you should check your components at least once a year. It doesn’t have to be a big service, but just a quick check-up. Not only from a performance standpoint, but also for safety concerns. Especially, fluids like brake oil will become even worse if the bike doesn’t move. 5. CeramicSpeed Bike App has only been active for 6 months now, and we are still working on behind-the-scenes stuff, to make it perform as we intend. We appreciate your feedback and will value these in our future development. In the meantime, if you have any specific details or additional feedback about the problems you've encountered, please feel free to share them with our support team at bikeapp@ceramicspeed.com. Your input is valuable, and it helps us prioritize improvements more effectively. Sincerely, Mette Kirstine Josephsen Customer Service Manager
