Great for travel!
I was away from home and wanted to connect to my local repeaters via AllStarLink, this is absolutely perfect when you are not in range of another linked repeater.Arima Commander

The potential once they are worked out is awesome. I will support the developer so that this awesome app can reach its potential. Update 8/15/23. Reached out to developer with another potential bug. Blew me off. He got my 8 bucks so what does he care. See ya. Not even the courtesy of a response. Even if it only happened to me not even an email saying anything. Update 8/17/23: This user has a bug that only seems to happen to him, so I suggested he reach out to other users for their experiences while I find time to investigate. It seems I did not resolve his issue fast enough for his liking, hence the 1-star review and the “blew me off” comment. In fact, I do care a lot, but I ask for a bit of patience as this is a side hobby.There are bugs BUT

Some Audio Issues For Me
I want to give 5 stars because it’s a great app so far, but my only complaint is the audio seems to be less than fully baked. I get only about half volume coming from all of the speakers on my phone regardless of what speaker is actually selected. In fact, trying to change from one speaker to another mutes the entire app and the only way to get even limited volume back is to restart the call. This may not be an issue for everyone – not sure. I’m on iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16.1.1 on most recent app version as of this writing.Show lessJTron1979

Transmit and receive audio is great works as advertised just wish we could use a push to talk in the spirit of using the radio.
With push to talk in mind, will the developer of this app be making a app for android and utilize the push to talk on android device?Jojo 318

This is what the Amateur radio users of iOS have been waiting for ! Something that works flawlessly.
I have used it for a day so far and not found a single issue on EchoLink nor on Allstar !
It’s the first time I have been able to use Allstar and I’m so glad I did but also without this application I would not have been able to do so for some time.
The interface is very well made and easy to navigate with a few options to personalise and tbh that’s all it needs. Personally I have the PTT set to push and hold to talk and not toggle as it may very well be my screen protector which makes my screen very sensitive and found I had keyed up in error but again that’s my end not the apps ! Extremely well made and thought out and about time iOS had something different!
Well done amazing work to the developer/s and the price is without a doubt very justified and every penny has been worth it !
I have nothing to do with the developers here it’s just my own honest non biased review.
It’s just outstanding, what else can I say.

I would like to communicate with the writer of this app. I can go into Directory and find an Allstar node but it will not let me in. I can go to EchoLink and find a link which will connect.... but.. when I put that node into the favorites, it will not connect.Bianchicycle

Hello, please feel free to email me at wbustraan@gmail.com. Do keep in mind, though, that whether or not you can connect is up to the discretion of the node administrator. It is sometimes better to contact the owner of the node to find out if they allow these types of phone connectionsExactly what we needed!
I want to start off by saying this app is absolutely fabulous. This fills the entire IAX hole for iPhone brilliantly.
Just one potential bug to report. We have a system around here that uses private nodes instead of public allstarlink nodes. I can make the IAX connection to them fine by adding it with node authentication in the favorites menu, but after I unkey when I talk with the app the node stays keyed as if I am still transmitting. The only way to stop it is to drop the connection. It looks on Supermon, like I never stopped transmitting but the audio is cut off.
