Great game! But I noticed that certain factions, with zero aggression or antagonizing, randomly declare war on other factions, for example. I was playing as Germany and Sweden joined me and immediately attacked the UK, forcing me to fight a war unprepared. It’s nothing too crazy but it’s annoying at times. Fixing it would be really helpful. Perhaps only YOU can decide when YOUR faction goes to war. Great game though! Thank you for consideration of fixing this bug.
Hi I love this game so much! But I do have one issue with it. Aircraft Carriers die too easily from air attacks for example: I will be playing as the British and the Germans attack my navy and the only ships that die really are the carriers. Please fix this as it’s annoying that I will spend a bunch of money to build carriers and they will just get ripped apart by air attacks pretty quickly. Other than that Iove this game and hope for more improvements.
Hi I love this game it is one of my favorites. There are almost no ads, good scenarios, and a good theme. However one thing I find very annoying is that sometimes countries that support you alliance will go to war with you for no reason. This is very annoying and makes no sense, like why would a country that supports your cause ever go to war with you? Please fix this as it’s annoying and logically makes no sense. Thanks!
I downloaded this after playing Colonies at War. This game has been a ton of fun, and I get absorbed in it for hours at a time without realizing it.
It’s a lot more complex than colonies at war, but still a ton of fun. The limitations on army size, and morale make a huge difference with battles compared to colonies at war. There’s occasionally some small bugs, but nothing that makes a big impact on the gameplay itself. There’s still a ton of gameplay I haven’t gotten to/tried out yet, especially when you factor in how many playable nations there are.
The one thing I’d like to see added would be a sandbox mode, especially for testing out different army compositions in different situations.
All in all, this game is a ton of fun and definitely worth downloading
I played world at war 1936 and somehow I’m being attacked by Britain and France even though I haven’t started war. This isn’t historically accurate because Britain and France declared war on Germany in September 1939 in response to invasion of Poland ( which like I said, I haven’t started war ). Another reason that makes this game historically inaccurate is that the Soviets are super overpowered even though they weren’t prepared for Barbarossa. For example, I attacked Ukraine with over 50,000 German troops while being defended by only 10,000 Soviets, yet I still lost the battle and lost more men. I can keep going on and on, but these are some examples. If you want to play a historically accurate wwii game this game isn’t for you.
For real best game I’ve played about ww2 I think the Germans and Russians are to overpowered when starting as Germany you take over the Western Europe to quickly but if you pick France you get stomped on and eliminated to quickly even if you build up fortifications and you are limited on manpower and Germany and Italy start with to much so do the Soviet powers which takes there realistic forms of history. yes the Germans win over Europe but the game is to hard and the factions you can’t choose your ideology like France leave Allie’s and become Allie’s with Germany or England and be communist I think the game would be cool if there was a new feature like something more than the regular choose Denmark or some other country and just get completely demolished in the first five minutes. Like I said amazing game just needs some good new features thank you for your time if you are a player enjoy the game if your the gave developers please give me feedback thank you for your time. Keep up the good work everyone
For the game, I like to play 1945 Germany and that is fun. But for world at war 1939 I don’t understand why sometimes I occupy all of the France, Britain, Denmark and Netherlands, and their colony are still fight with me! I guess they are also surrender me you know? (it should be because it is the history) And for 1936 I don’t understand why Japan is join to Allies? Or, I can say most of country is join to Allies and I think that is a little bit unfair. Because you no body can use a 4000 power team win a 6000 or 7000 power team!(at least I can’t)

Hi, thanks for your review, even though Paris is taken their colonies will still fight on. These large scenarios are totally random, so anyone can join anyone. You can influence them before joining an alliance I absolutely love this game! It’s been eating up my free time for the past few weeks! The game is very fun and very addicting, I love every aspect of the game besides a few.
1.) Why is the full version 7$? I would’ve bought it if it was a reasonable 3$ but 7$ to get rid of ads is crazy.
2.) It is impossible to get alliances on this game. Maybe bc every major power is preset to a starting faction but it makes the free for all games very frustrating. Also hurts alternative history, I wanted to be Japan and create an empire together with the US but it’s impossible unfortunately.
3.) campaign is too short in my opinion.
Besides these points the game is great! It would be very dope of the developer to change and update those problems. Love the game!!!

Hi, thanks for your review. There is restrictions within the game to try to keep the game balanced. Of course, if you try to bribe the USA to join your alliance it will cost a lot. It's not impossible but nearly impossible to do. Sorry about the $7 it's the only way I get paid. It's very hard to alter any balancing because the game has a mind of its own and counters it or re-adjusts. So a lot of the Ai and balancing took me ages to do and I would be scared to tamper with it now. ThanksColonies at war is 5 ⭐️. There is only one very minor issue in that game (subjectively, I think the territories in Asia have too high of value). So I had high expectations for this game. However, there are too many glitches (for example, my ships just disappear; and even if they were attacked, the game doesn’t show me they were attacked). And yes, I am playing on the most current version of the game. Additionally, while I understand the increased complexity of the game considering the superior war tactics of the time period, mobility and user control is too finicky. Further, while I really like the new aircraft carriers, it is way too difficult to maintain a fleet of ships at the hardest-level. I never wrote reviews and am only writing this because I am a big fan of the developer, and while I know he always cites “time restraints,” I hope he puts a little more TLC in developing this game. It has great potential. And if you are frustrated with this game like me, go check out colonies at war. You won’t be disappointed.

Hi, thanks for you review. A few people have said ships disappear but I cannot find out why. If you can tell me when it happens I may be about to find the bug. it hasn’t happened to me when I play. Does it happen when they retreat? During battle? After the end turn? Do they get relocated? Does it happen only to the human player? Is an air raid destroying them? Hi, thanks for your review. I try my best. I envisage I will first release the game without King Arthur. Once all the base game bugs are cleared I will then add the extra scenario's like the wars of King Arthur. Should be another month after release.
