From a coaching perspective here’s why I’m giving 1 star.
1. Huge discrepancies and inaccuracies in the nutritional data — the daily total for calories does not add up correctly. How hard is that to calculate and correct? The daily totals when I do the math for total calories can be off anywhere from 150-200 calories!! That’s a lot when it comes done to nutrition, especially with a small female client with little resources to pull from already. Also, discrepancies in the client side vs the coaching side. for example 184g of broccoli kept getting logged as 184 florets on my client’s end. I’ve had to go back to using my stand alone nutrition software. The food selection process is not intuitive and there are countless entries that are totally bogus and incorrect… who is adding this data? It should be compiled from a reputable data source not everyone and their mom using the app. Adding their own stuff. Nutrition is the keystone for progress. Having accurate, and thorough nutrition data is an integral part of coaching anyone.
2. Messages auto delete after 30 days and There’s no where to reply back to client’s check-ins — The only way is to address things separately in the chat and send a million messages, which then get deleted after 30 days or you can edit the client’s check-in and reply back in all CAPS to differentiate your reply from theirs. There should at least be a reply box at the bottom if each check in. How am I supposed to keep organized and detailed history of each client that’s available to them and me? The client “notes” is insufficient and pretty useless. again the chats get deleted! Seeing chat history is a big deal and why would they delete it?!
3. Support is abysmal they just give you a run-around and you get no where with them. The app is always glitching for my clients. Things like Not being able to log in or nutrition data missing. The most recent one my clients were unable to use and log their workouts in the app. Then I’m bombarded left and right with messages about it from them. I had to message support over the previously mentioned broccoli grams to florets glitch as well. These are just the first things that come to mind.
To pay such a hefty price for using the app I’m highly disappointed in the lack of features, the errors throughout, and lack of support to say the least. The app was suppose to make client management more efficient, and faster and so far this has not been my experience. I still have to find work arounds and find myself reverting back to my old process (email and drives) so I feel like my money has been wasted to a certain extent. It certainly hasn’t been worth the price I paid to coach in the app.
