Reliable, Accurate, and Easy

Dot3D for iOS is the most user friendly of the 3D LiDAR apps that can still provide pro results. The application is set up to do quick captures and prevent errors. Survey grade accuracy, integration with other CAD and mapping technology, as well as thoughtful annotations. This is a lot of 3D utility in your pocket for a great price. The cost and ease of use really support first time / casual users as well as large organizations that want to scale up 3D tools to their whole team.

Another bait and switch

The App Store is just clogged with apps that claim to be freemium but the free mode is basically worthless. This is another one.

I am sorry you feel that way. Dot3D is free and you may scan and view what you scan as much as you want in Free mode. Sorry you don’t think that is enough. However Dot3D Pro features are not just another consumer app for playing around with. It is meant for professional users who value accuracy and the ability to use professional workflows. A lot of work has gone into those features and we must charge for those.

Best LiDAR app

I stumbled across the launch webinar today. I have tried every LiDAR app and this one is hands-down the best. it was made by professionals for professions. Most of the apps in the market focus on the novelty of LiDAR. This is a valuable tool for 3d modeling
