  • Not as fun as it could be.

I enjoy the game. But it takes so much energy to clear out the field, also takes way more energy to do the adventure maps. I spend less then one minute on the adventure maps because I don’t have enough energy, the price to buy energy isn’t worth it.. way to expensive. Then you have the side tabs on your screen in the way; with no arrow; to get them off the full screen. You also can’t zoom in the way you want to, in order to place objects, such as buildings, etc. The resources take wayyyyy to long to accomplish anything. If there was more resources and the energy wasn’t so expensive to chop down things, I’d actually be more willing to spend money on the game. I spend wayyyy less time, less then 10min, playing the game entirely . I would actually spend money on the game, if it was more resourceful and didn’t take less than 10min. to accomplish what I can afford, and it was worth the buck$ of my satisfaction. Anywho, I do like the concept and will still give the game the benefit, of the doubt.

  • Good game but..

I love this game. I play it every day, but it just takes so much to do anything. Once you get to the next world, everything breaks. There is more than the energy bar. I’m at the medieval moments, and the cheapest thing I think I found was 68, which is insane to me. I think they should make it so that you can increase your energy bar or make it easier to get energy without spending money bc I know I’ve spent too much money on this game and it’s sad that’s how you have to play it to get anything done in the game which is very irritating I really like this game I wish they made it easier to do the thing is the game without spending so much money other then that it’s a fun little game gives you a lot of mini-games within the game which is nice it just takes too long to get anything done tho which probably makes people stop playing bc I know I have before bc of it.

  • Love Game But….

I really love this game. Graphics are awesome. Seems so realistic to the actual show which I still love watching on TV. My bigger complaint I think the ratio between energy that you use and the actual product that you get back is not fair like if you used 145 energy you get like maybe five but then you need like 10 to build something that you need to give to the worm to get the tools that you need to be able to expand the land in bikini bottom, I’d like to see that ratio fixed. I’d also like to see if there’s a way for us to use gems to buy the tools need it to extend our areas because sometimes I just can’t get all of the supplies needed to give to the worm in order to get the tools needed to extend my land plus the required tool amount is way too much as well, I’d like to see these things improve along the line of being able to get these tools a lot easier overall great game and I do love to play it!

  • An interesting take on Energy

This game is fun BUT as many people have said, energy is an issue. While there are ways to get energy, they almost feel feeble to continually playing. So many places outside bikini bottom have debris that cost 100+ energy when your cap is 50….this entices you to do the little mini games or craft spatulas(that require an item you have to use energy for…)to get energy back. This and some quest items will give you some too. All of that, will still only give you about 10 min of playtime every hour or more. Huge rocks cost 15 energy, while a tiny piece of coral cost 45? A Very odd system that doesn’t seem like it was given much though. This game also really wants you to spend money. And the bundles are not worth the price, mathematically speaking. Definitely think about the amount of energy, 200 gems, and that one pie, your getting for 6.99,( on a sale.) 300 energy can get you to break to debris on glove world. That’s not worth $7 for a sale. The original price is $25 mind you. I understand you want to make money, but that’s not the way

  • Need more energy to play

I really love this game. So I’ll start with some pros! It’s extremely fun. I love that there are various areas within the game to clean up, Jellyfish Field, Kelp City etc. I love details on the game, really feels like the actually show. Love how you get to clean up areas the different boards and fine treats and speciality to help you along the way. The game it really cool and I enjoy playing it, trying to make my boards look absolutely clean and looking like a city again! But here’s my problem I have no energy to do ALL the cleaning it requires in the game. Its very hard to play it when I run out so quickly. The extra games within the game helps like the game room, the snacks, and things like that but you only get 50 and some of the area that need to be cleaned to go to the next level is much more than that. I which it was higher and I wish every time you level up or go to another city you can start us off with at least 200 energy so we can start cleaning in the next board. I don’t even get my gem after watching multiple ads and it’s so hard to exit out of them.
The pies help so much! But so hard to get. Overall fun game, that’s gonna require you to spend you money to actually enjoy it

Hello! We are so grateful to you for such detailed feedback and it's a great pleasure to know that you find our game extremely fun to play. Our team did their best to make the game interesting in the long term and set no time limits while advancing. You can move with the quests only or stay at the location longer to collect more resources. Besides, using other possibilities in the game can be useful. For example, the Adventure Camp can help when you experience a lack of some exact resource. We are always glad to help and share more game tips. So feel free to contact us via the in-game support form anytime you need.
  • Be prepared to spend money

Is the game good? Yes. Can you get through it without having to spend your money each time? No. You will be stuck for days waiting for gems and the amount of energy you get is useless when there are several things that are worth 60+ energy. That’s what gets you to spend your money. Are there ads you can watch for energy and gems? Yes, IF you can even get them to work. It’s been over a month and I have not been able to watch any ad for gems or energy because after the ad ends, nothing happens. I don’t get anything. I have reached out to the in app support COUNTLESS times and all I ever get is the same “oops sorry that’s happening to you” message and then they close my chat. I have already restarted the game, my iPad, and uninstall/reinstall and nothing ever helps. In fact, when I have uninstalled/reinstalled I have actually lost progress in the game 3 times now even though I have the game connected to a Facebook account which should in theory prevent that from happening. I also got a “sorry that happened to you” message from support when I messaged them. You would think that after all of this they would offer you something to make up for all of this, but no. So hope you have your Apple wallet set up if you decide to download this game.

  • Energy

I normally don’t write reviews but I loved this game okay and I have actually made it very far I’m on chapter 2 doom tower it’s basically impossible to do anything anymore you have to either pay money for barely any energy or wait weeks to even get one task done because everything cost 300 plus energy and they cap you out at 50? How does that make sense and the only reason I wanted to keep playing was because I’m obsessed with sponge bob and wanted to create my own bikini bottom but even that part is impossible because I can’t even do the small little tasks because you need coral to do a lot of stuff and I don’t have any left so I have to go to the doom tower and then spend 300 energy for 3 things of coral not worth it and then I can’t expand my land because the worm wants all the worst things that you have to wait hours for or you can’t even make what it wants because you don’t have enough supplies to make said things.. it’s really not fun anymore tbh 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • Not a High Enough Energy Bar Despite Any Other Free Methods to Gain Energy

The game itself is really fun and there’s lots to do. I like the story line and how it’s a clean up and design your own Bikini Bottom (and other worlds) kind of game. My only complaints are that the energy bar capacity is 50 but it should be higher to either 100 or even 150 to do anything progress wise for more than 2 minutes. When I log in, I have 50 energy MAX if I don’t have any additional energy stored up. Some items are worth 380, 70, 45, 37, 27, and other levels of energy I can’t remember, but it’s quite ridiculous to try and even wanna keep going back whenever I have 50 energy, maybe 15 energy from some quests, hopefully whatever energy can be provided from blue jellyfish, or any of the energy carts that still require items (these items are obtained using energy mostly) to be used to obtain any extra energy. Overall, I believe the game could be better with an increased energy bar, instead of 50 being the max, it should be 100, 150, or maybe even 200 since there’s so much to use energy on in this game.

  • Fun and Entertaining

I really like this game, and I spend down time playing it almost everyday! The graphics are nice and very true to the actual show, which I grew up watching (and still watch honestly). I like the farming and harvesting competitions where you earn tons of extra energy as well. My only gripe is the rate at which energy is replenished versus spent. Clearing debris is expensive in comparison to how much energy is earned. They have different ways to earn energy, but it seems like the more you progress through the various locations outside of Bikini Bottom, the more expensive it is to clear debris. (Ex: At King Krab’s Castle, it costs 145 energy to get more kelp, and then you’re only given like 5 or 6 kelp.) A good example of a proper exchange rate for energy would be the side quest in SpongeBob’s couch, where clearing debris cost at most 10-15 energy and you got a lot of product. This kept me motivated to play the side quest more than the actual game before it closed after two weeks. In addition, once you move to another location, you cannot access it again after 48 hours, so if you had a lot of debris left that you could harvest, it’s lost. Outside of those things, I do really enjoy playing the game!

  • Highly addictive and worth 5 stars but…

Pretty much the only way you can progress consistently in the game is to buy the pass for discounted Debris removal or consistently watching every ad option for energy that you allow. I get needing to make the money so that you can further produce the game we all would love to see this become but their needs to be more in game ways to get energy boosters. Since early game is fairly cheap, I believe that the only thing you’d need is to either make A. more gold be produced from jelly’s/clams/ and seahorses or B. Make the resources for silver spatulas refresh in open spots in the bikini bottom/ make them a little bit cheaper. Doing the math on it if it cost 120 to break, and it can almost build three silver spatulas (165 energy worth). I’m not making much of a deal on it, it’s more like I just put the energy in storage. Also I was slightly pushed away from buying the pass after learning that some skins aren’t a permanent bonus and have timers to when the booster disappears , if we’re gunna work hard on events to get new skins for buildings it would be great to at least keep them. I hope to see all the cool things you’ll be bring in. Thank you
