  • Works really well

This is a no frills app that works really well as long as you have the kindle app installed on your device.

It seems like what it’s doing is just converting the articles to the epub format, kicking them to the kindle app and letting it do the transfer. All good with me as long as it works, which it does.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I hate subscription based software, and I don’t think I’ll use this enough to warrant the cost of premium.

If you made a reasonable one time purchase option for a lifetime subscription, I’d buy it. But for now I guess I’ll just use the free version sparingly. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  • Doesn’t work, no support team

I downloaded this app and never received a login code through email (checked spam folder). Then I emailed the support team and no response. Bummer, seemed like a cool idea.

    Developer Response

Sorry for the late response to this. The login is only for paying subscribers. But you can use Push to Kindle for free without a subscription (so no logging in) to send up to 10 articles a month. We have a getting started page here: https://help.pushtokindle.com/article/9-getting-started-ios-appIf you have any trouble, please feel free to email us: help@pushtokindle.com
  • Unusable

Not able to enter log on OR Kindle email address in app. Fields are greyed out. Therefore, unable to send articles to Kindle.

    Developer Response

Sorry for the late response to this. To edit the email address you need to tap the Edit button and choose send by Kindle email (by default it produces an EPUB that you can share via the iOS Kindle app). The login button is only for paying subscribers. You can use the app without a subscription if you don't send more than 10 articles a month. If you'd like to try it again, please feel free to email us at help@pushtokindle.com if you have any issues.
  • Just love it. Such a great product.

Easy to use and intuitive interface.
  • Works great

I initially thought it didn’t work but I was using the wrong email address. My bad, edited my review to 5 stars.

    Developer Response

Many thanks for the updated review, Adrien. Please do let us know if you experience any issues and we'll be more than happy to help.
  • Doesn’t work

It doesn’t work unfortunately. The kindle email address is good and the email sender is authorized. I’ve used the chrome extension successfully

    Developer Response

Hi Adrien, could you please also try the 'Share EPUB' send mode? You'll have to have the Kindle app installed on your iOS device so you can select it. It takes a few more taps than the Kindle email method currently. If you'd like us to try and figure out why the email method is not working for you via the app, please email us at help@pushtokindle.com and we'll do our best to help.
  • The best way to get longform articles onto Kindle!

I’ve used this tool on and off for years, and the new app is by far the best way to get articles off of the web and onto my Kindle. I have yet to hit the 10 per month limit, but I’m likely going to subscribe anyway to support continued development.
  • Bait and switch

I purchased this app a few years ago for the full price. I since redownloaded it onto my phone only to find out that they only have a subscription option now. This shows that they don’t care about their customers.

    Developer Response

Hi there, quick reply to let you know that if you bought our app a few years ago (where we offered it only as a paid app), you can still download that version of the app. It is not for sale any more, and we no longer develop it, but we didn't pull it from users who'd already purchased it. It will still be in your iOS library to re-install. We think the new app is better, however, and we offer 10 free credis a month without asking for payment. To send more than that using the new app, we do now require a subscription. Push to Kindle is a niche product and we could not sustain development using the previous model. But we don't think it's fair to characterise the change as "bait and switch" considering we had the same pay-once model for many, many years (more than 10 years on Android) and have only recently made the change. And we did it without forcing existing users who'd already paid for the previous app to pay again.
