Description of RULEIT

Based on the powerful, yet simple 50/30/20 rule, RULEIT makes budgeting easy. If you are not familiar with the 50/30/20 rule, here is a quick summary: - A maximum of 50% of your monthly income should go to mandatory expenses, like rent and food. This category is called Needs. Keeping the percentage under 50 frees up money for the other two categories - 30% of your income should go to optional expenses, like eating out, streaming services or gym subscription. This category is called Wants. - Lastly, 20% of your income should be put to the Savings category. Your savings can go towards anything from a vacation to a house! RULEIT has a minimalistic and user-friendly look. You can choose between dark and light colour themes! RULEIT syncs with all of your devices via iCloud, so you can budget from anywhere!

  • Exactly what I want… but…

This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for, simple, 3 pots I can add and subtract to based on the 50/30/20 budgeting split and it works it out for you based on your monthly salary. All my money and spending in one place without a million bells and whistles…. But the app seems jittery, for example when I tap add new expense the pop up to add information appears and disappears twice then I have to click again. Other than that it’s exactly what I need

    Developer Response

Hello, sorry for the late response and thank you for the feedback! The app should be running smoother now as of version 1.1.2
  • So so good

I love the 50/30/20 budgeting system and this app helps with organising that for me.
The system is simple to use and allows me enough personalisation to know what I’ve actually spend everything on.
If there one small small thing I love it if they could change is that I get paid in the middle of the month, so I wish I could set that in the app like a ‘pay day’ since I frame my finances around that.
    But otherwise it’s wonderful!
