'SelfID Photo' makes it easier to selfie your own ID photos. What you need to do is follow the audio guidance ... and "Ready, 3, 2, 1" - Ka-chick! The final photos are already prepared with white, blue and red backgrounds, and are ready to be shared and AirPrint directly.
Taking proper photograph for identification use is always a challenge in selfie photography. Even with the front camera, it is always hard to hold the phone and press the shutter while making sure that you are facing straight and located in the center of the photograph with your face in a proper proportion. Not to mention using the back camera for selfie ID photo which suppose to have better resolution and better image quality, yet, you don't even know whether your are in the camera view from the back of the phone. Another problem is the distance between you and the camera. Shooting too close usually result in bigger nose, and wider face obscuring both ears. But it is difficult to control and level the phone even just one hand away.
'SelfID Photo' helps to solve these problems. First of all, the level and tilt indicators in the camera assists you setting the phone in a proper attitude, no matter you are using a tripod or holding it by hand. Secondly, 'SelfID Photo' uses A.I. to locate your face and provides audio guidance (currently, English, Chinese Mandarin and Chinese Cantonese) to let you position yourself. And when you are in the right position, stay steady, the APP will take the picture automatically for you. That means, if you are using the back camera for selfie, you are still be able to 'locate' yourself and take a nice ID photo without even touching the shutter.
'SelfID Photo' applies person segmentation technique to replace the original background with some common colored backgrounds (white, sky blue and red). It also crops the photo into various formats and sizes commonly use for digital submission and printout. You can further adjust each single photo's exposure, saturation, brightness and contrast.
All photos taken by 'SelfID Photo' can be shared to other Apps in the iOS sharing menu, and those cropped to printable formats can also be printed directly to AirPrint supportable printer.
