Reviews of xBloom

  • Excellent Machine, Solid App, Missing One Crucial Feature

I’ve recommended xbloom to all my friends and family who drink coffee. The standalone grinder is a great feature, the app is clean and easy to use. The pods and coffee taste wonderful. Love that we can now buy in bulk (souther weather!)

HOWEVER, I still use my kettle half of the time because this machine will not let you just pour hot water. Sometimes I have a morning where I want my dang cheap flavored beans/grounds so I can be my best white girl self and drink pumpkin flavored coffee every October.

I really don’t want to run oily “fake” beans through this beautiful machine. Which leaves me with no choice but to just pour the old fashioned way. I might as well just move out to a log cabin in the Wild West, heat my water over a fire, pour my coffee, and eventually get tuberculosis or something. (Kidding. Mostly).

I understand that blueberry buttered moist croissant flavored beans is an affront to connoisseurs. We all have bad habits. And I refuse to give mine up.

I still love this company and what they are doing. Just PLEASE let me just use the spiral pour for my tacky coffee habits.
  • Wow. Just wow

I have had a bunch of different automatic coffee machines in the last, just as many pour overs, and this xBloom is admittedly extremely impressive. I just tap the tag and push the pod holder and in a few minutes I have a delicious cup of coffee. It’s absolutely a game changer. The fact I can use my own coffee too and not have to buy into any proprietary pods is also an amazing bonus!
