Crashing issues

I would love to give a 5 star review but I honestly couldn’t when I can’t even play 3 minutes of the game without it crashing. This is especially annoying when you are summoning as you lose your gems/tickets whenever this happens. Please fix this asap as I would love to be able to enjoy this game.

Great game I absolutely love it.

Been playing this game for about 545 days straight as of writing this review and it’s still one of my favorite games on my phone and I’ve tried playing other mobile games on the side too but always came back to Master of Garden because it’s just so fun to play especially when the events start of like my personal favorite events is Apocrypha - Requiem for Scattered Shadows 1 & 2.
And customer support is very kind and helpful too and I’m very thankful for the help they’ve given when I was confused about linking my account to my pc.
Overall the best game I’ve played on mobile and I’m excited for part 3 and the following parts of Apocrypha - Requiem for Scattered Shadows and soon Lost Echoes.
Keep up the good work!

just a suggestion

i know it’s not really my place but as a fan and daily player on the eminence in shadow rpg i wish we had a system in which we could trade in (rough estimate) 100 event magic cores (from characters you maybe missed) into a single event character of the players choice. I was so upset after using a lot of summons on the “fire force” event collab summons because i used all the gems i could bring mostly f2p and even caved in and bought some and wasn’t able to pull any of the characters through 9 summons despite the banner saying 200% chance to get event characters. I love this game and the event sand collabs and this last one was my favorite and will probably be my favorite forever i just wish i had a way to get at least one of the characters despite not getting them through multiple summons. i think it would be fair to the player base both f2p and paid and would without a doubt give your players (myself included) a lot more enthusiasm to play the game. thank you

Overall Great game except for the summons

I love the game! I play it daily. You’re able to earn free gems and I’m mostly…mostly a f2p player so that’s big plus. I still buy every once in a while depending on the game. The campaigns are great and the characters all have unique designs and alternate versions of them to keep the game fresh. I’d love to give it 4 or 5 stars but the 2 main reasons I can’t are 1: the cost of of gems, I’d really have to buy 2 gem packages just to make one paid summon and that’s crazy to me and alot of people and number 2 is the summon drop rate is abysmal to say the least. It’ll say “150% or 200%” drop rate increase but you still will not even get a single SSR. Like the current “Blazing Hero” campaign with summons banners…after 11 total (yes 11) multi-pulls I literally only got 1 (yes only 1) SSR and that wasn’t even one of the banner SSRs. There’s no way I should only have pulled only 1 SSR out of that many mult-summons. Like that’ll make you delete the game (which I’m currently on the fence of doing) and give it a horrible review.

Officially Done

After coming back to this game several times over the past two years, I have to admit it: while the character design and story are absolutely phenomenal, the gacha system is an unforgivable pay-to-win trap. The art is stunning, the lore is immersive, and each character feels uniquely crafted both in personality and abilities. But getting those characters? You’re never going to experience them fully unless you’re willing to spend way more than even whales would be comfortable with.

The rates are abysmally low, and while the game dangles shiny new units in front of you, it quickly becomes clear that no amount of grinding will realistically get you the characters you want without forking over a hefty sum. It’s frustrating because the game has so much potential, but the sheer cost required to keep up ruins the experience.

Honestly, there are better games that strike a much healthier balance between paid and free-to-play players. I highly recommend OUTERPLANE and EverSoul if you’re looking for similar gameplay without the wallet-draining stress. Both offer fantastic character design, engaging stories, and fair systems that won’t make you feel like you’re throwing your money into a black hole.

Potential Overshadow by Greed

While the game is fun and brings in the characters we love, it quickly makes you realize what their main priority is — $$$. With packs that are depressingly ineffective at enabling you to collect characters ($100 gets you ALMOST three x10 pulls), it quickly makes you feel you’d need to be a prince to afford. Sadly, this is exasperated by the in game mechanics that greatly reward you for collecting numerous copies. Once you’ve beaten the story there are very few things that are left challenging you besides competition with millionaires and their superior collection of TEIS units.

If you have the willpower to save FTP gems and roll when you can make 20 pulls, the amount for guaranteed unit, then by all means enjoy the game! Otherwise, stick to reading the novel, manga, and collecting figures or merch because this game will make you sad or broke!!!

Disgustingly overpriced gotcha

The gameplay is fun and interesting. Events give a decent amount of free earnable rewards. The the amount one has to pay for a guaranteed chance at a digital character in a game that won’t last 5 years is $600. SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS. I spent $200 on one character to not get a single SS rare character. So, while the gameplay is fun and the writing is decent, it’s not friendly to consumers. In fact, it’s the very definition of praying on people, milking them for everything they can.

Crunchyroll hires people that change the translation of shows to suit their own ideologies and they gouge prices to the absolute limit. Honestly, Crunchyroll and the people that set the predatory practices are super immoral and I have zero respect for them. I only play the game because I really enjoyed the show and I only play one phone game at a time. If it weren’t for their immoral and unethical business practices, I would give this game a 4.5.

Performance issues….

I rlly want to enjoy this game because gameplay wise it’s fun even tho it’s simple it’s interactive but even tho I want to I can’t overlook the constant performance issues mainly the constant overbearing crashes I tried playing the game today and it crashed a total of over ten times and all I managed to do was open my inbox and check the current character banners I came back to this game after a year and it’s in the same terrible state.
