It’s a good game but…
Love the game it is a great time waster you def will be watching ads to get further in the game and the ads they show are not great when u click X to skip add about two or three more X’s pop up and they pull up the download screen for the game just in case you didn’t already make it clear that you don’t wanna download another game you will also be forced to watch ads to open “Free” briefcases for managers other then that the grind isn’t to bad and its definitely not like monopoly Go where you have to purchase things with real money to be half way decent at the gameShow lessMDRNMAY

I’ve been playing this game for about a month now and found it enjoyable to play. I enjoy the grind type games but once you hit the bank on the ocean, the whole game changes to “upgrade managers tycoon.” I find it really frustrating that all 3 of the bank challenges are update manager level. So especially the whole game comes to a stop because it takes 50 million lightbulbs to upgrade once. Each manager challenge requires at least 60 levels to complete. I have 3 of them. I’ve been playing for around a month now and am currently on the bank Reaching for the Skies and at level 70. I have VIP activated for 30 days and I purchased 500 gold tickets. Building the banks have gone smoothly and I’ve enjoyed the process as well as the mini games so far but Business Mode has been an issue. I have 42 managers out of the 50 possible, 16 of which are Epic and 17 of which are Legendary, and out of those 33, 20 of them are maxed out at level 100. Even with all of that and plenty of lightbulbs, ingots, and golden tickets to spend, I can’t find a way to raise my Efficiency in Business Mode to be enough to pass audits without needing more life. Sometimes the Recommended Efficiency is 20k higher than my maxed out managers can achieve. I have no idea what could possibly done by a player to get past this issue. It’s definitely something that needs attention since leveling up in Business Mode is required to complete banks.Show lessshantamichelle

At first, the game guides you through a tutorial after installing the app. It helped me know what to upgrade and how to win quests for the bank. The instructions are simple enough to understand and the quests are easy to follow along. The hard parts would be that the costs to complete the quests will increase as you go along. Finally, I love how the graphic artists for making the gameplay world looking like 3D Pixels and 2D motion images. This helps to keep the theme of the game on point for what it is.
However, the game itself is nothing epic nor strategic to actually fuss about. I’ve played different games with this kind of simple setup and this game is no different. The good thing about it is that helps pass the time when you’re not trying to play to win or gamble anything. Overall, I believe that this app is worth it if your looking for something to pass the time.Show lessSoda Jix
Crashes necessary to continue play
I wrote to the company over a month ago to tell them of an issue that was constantly happening. To get multipliers, you have to watch videos. All well and good IF the video works! I watch the video, but with 11 seconds remaining, the game freezes and I have to force close the game Of course I come back to have this to repeat. I stopped playing for a few weeks in hopes it would be fixed when I returned. Just tried to play and the very first video I watched, stopped with 11 seconds remaining.
The worst customer service I’ve ever seen in a game. And the worst game at fixing issues.Show lessjerseygrits

Dear Idle Bank Tycoon app designers, I am deleting my Idle Bank Tycoon app.
Your App is pushing ‘1 of 2’ ads, at 15 seconds each. Why you don’t just push one 15 second ad? I might be keeping the App on my phone.
Even worse abuse, these full 60 second Ads fishing for patients from Everyday Health. I’m health, and the last thing I need is 69 seconds of dating advice when I don’t have a disease. Your failure to govern yourself with even a modicum of care for my time, has pushed beyond my tolerance.
While you are thinking about how I owe you for using your app for free, realize that I don’t owe you as much as you are taking, and you have burnt out my free will once and for all.
I’m not coming back. I won’t be downloading and playing any Idle Games again. Good bye.
Before I am done with you, I will be sharing the same advice with Apple, regarding their rules for ads on Apps downloaded from their App Store. This nonsense of Close / Click X / Close Again / Click X again / wait 5 seconds for another view of an Ad that has no relevance to my choices.
Absurd abuse.
And I will be fighting back with awareness posted and messaging about this post with: the Apple App Store, Social Media, the Stares attorney of Illinois. Next, I will be invoicing Apps for my time after their Ads have exceeded a reasonable number of repetitions. Look, this whole concept of the game is actually fun. I don’t really care how long it takes me to finish a bank and what not but my only concern is the business mode. Business mode is easy, until you get to a point to where you’re not even getting the briefcases. And why is it that the level I’m on in business mode 2x higher than what my managers are? I can’t even catch up no matter how many briefcases I try to save and what not and then open them. I really think it would be fun all around if 1, decrease the amount of levels to complete for each bank and 2 at least give us a chance to increase the levels of our managers because it’s just ridiculous and annoying that I have to do this. I don’t even play as much as I used to now because of it and I don’t want to sit there and waste an hour trying to complete these tasks for the next bankShow lessMrGlizzyyyy

I finished 6/9 of the levels and that took a lot of time. There is a portion of the game called “Business Mode” which is just Candy Crush style block connecting. It’s not fun, it’s just there to consume time and slow down your progress. In the first few levels it’s annoying but it’s doable. Once you hit level 4 or 5, it just becomes tedious and the game isn’t fun at all anymore. You end up with enough money to max out everything but you’re blocked from progress because the game forces you to complete levels of business mode. No money or ads can spare you from doing this. In the end, you’re just playing connect the blocks and not upgrading or tending to a bank anymore. If the game had no Business Mode or if they just cut down the forced milestones of Business Mode it would be more fun. The game itself without the stupid ads would get a five star. You are not forced to watch the ads, however, if you want to get to the end of the match three since the difficulty starts automatically above where you are, it's very likely you will want to use the ad option for a 50% health recovery.
The ads are often four stage garbage that requires you to click next after 10 seconds four different times before you get the opportunity to click close. Screw that. I shut the game down whenever that garbage comes up. I'm not going to interact with a stupid ad system like that. As a result of this, it takes an otherwise fun game to unplayable at times.
The stupid thing about these ads, when I wasn't annoyed by them, it was the same thing four times. I sure hope they pay a lot because whenever they come up, it costs ads for me for the rest of the day and possibly other people as well.Show lessTrfkfrfvjy
It’s fun but kind of impossible
It’s a really fun game but the little business mode thing is so hard, like there is absolutely no way that I can do some of the quest without watching an ad and using the 30 gold coins. Which you can really only get 5 every 4 hours so just to complete one it takes at least 18 hours. And all of my characters are to there highest level so I know that’s not the issue. I just don’t get why it has to be so hard. Especially because this is a game about running a bank so why is there some random candy crush type game in it.Show lessahvaught
