Can we get more ID?
Great app, but can we get more fossil identification? Especially fossils in Florida. PaleoChris on YouTube could help with this imo.Developer Response
Thank you for the input. What other fossils did you have in mind? Please be specific. I will reach out to PaleoCris, after your input. Contact me at IslandBum@sharpy.siteGood app but would like extras
I like the app a lot but it would be awesome to add some separate sections for different areas such as Texas/Alabama to get a more complete picture of teeth for people who travel.Developer Response
Thank you for the review. Yes, I would like to include fossils from other regions. But to include them in the SharkToothID application I would need the actual fossils to photograph under controlled conditions. This would require that I purchase the fossils and might become expensive. If you have fossils in excellent condition and willing to send to me, I will try to include.Great work
Enjoyed the App Steven! Very complex problem that you very succinctly summarized. Great into to shark teeth identification.Developer Response
Thank you for the kind words Randolph! Keep coding.Great beach app
Really like this simple handy app for when you’re walking on the beach finding teeth. It would be great if you could add Makos. Thank you1Developer Response
Thank you for the review. There is a disagreement among experts as to the correct ID of “mako” fossils. What many folks call a mako is actually a lesser white shark fossil. I may include an image of a true mako fossil in my next update.Great free app
Informative with great pics. Was not hopeful after the one star review I saw. They must have been expecting image recognition, AI or something?
No cookies , no fuss and free! Thanks! I was able to easily identify my teeth, and the grandkids and I learned something.
