4k videos are stuttering on ipad

Much better than Infuse

Sad that after all these years Infuse made 0 progress while a newcomer is taking the crown from virtually all perspective. Video quality on Apple TV 4K 2nd gen is still behind Infuse. But I bought Pro to encourage further development and they are already better than Infuse virtually in all other ways (interface, speed etc). So, I am sure they will soon put Infuse to retirement.

EDIT #2: The developer fixed the bug I mentioned and it’s awesome again! Thank you!

In my opinion this is way better then infuse. It’s cheaper and the video player has more options. I CAN PINCH TO ZOOM IN AND OUT OF THE VIDEO. It may sound like a small thing but this allows the user to have the video stop before the notch so you don’t have huge black bars like in infuse

Fixed in new version~

No longer good

it’s good but when will HDR support come? HDR content now plays in SDR

Edit: It’s also paid now so bumped it down as no longer worthy infuse replacement with lacking HDR and DV support

Forcing me to upgrade to pro

Used to be awesome alternative to infuse, now after months of use with no issues, forcing me to upgrade to pro in order to play any of the media I was enjoying literally just earlier today. Actually unusable

it can also be played for free, and subsequent MP4s in 1080P or below can be played for free without pop-ups

Fantastic!… but

I love this app. Does everything I need and streams better from my Jellyfin server than even some paid apps. My only upset is that it doesn’t offer picture-in-picture mode. Hope to see it in a future update.

Very Good

Pros -
Works well with WebDav - considerably better than Infuse
Fast syncing between platforms, watch on AppleTV, change to phone, continue watching fairly seamlessly
Responsive UI
Easy to edit metadata

Cons -
No easy way to delete or remove content from the Media Center tab
Some bugs, no more than you might expect from a rapidly develoiping app

Overall I expect great things if developer keeps up the pace of releases

Lastest update

Has put pay wall in place for offline videos. That is a deal breaker for me. Will find another way. It is a very app though. Well made, smooth and not buggy at all.
