Deleted at level 136 after a year and a bit.

Game was good, then as each new pay to win was added it became a larger time commitment. Then they added monthly subscriptions to give back time wasted on farming islands and watching ads and clicking rune rolls. Eventually it’s a 100 bucks a month bad habit that leaves you on an empty server fighting your own team daily. Mounts destroyed what was left. Servers are so empty now since mounts came out it’s no longer worth the $$$. Upgrading mounts is a disgusting and mindless process. I just can’t be a part of the silliness any longer.

Pay to play

If you're not paying you're not getting any high end equipment. Builds a big divide in servers. And the lack of players in servers is tough to see. Hard to have one full guild with active players in it

Pay2Win

The game is extremely pay to win I’ve been playing ever since release and it’s fun game to play whenever you need to pass the time. The only issue I find is the p2w is extremely bad for f2p players it feels like we’re progressing 0.2x the speed of a p2w player. The ruin pass I feel shouldn’t exist either take it away or make it cost diamonds same thing with the permits I believe there should be a way to buy it with diamonds. My issue with the some of the events is that it’s impossible to get any of the good stuff that is needed to progress more specifically the wings otherwise I think the game fundamentally great obviously they need income streams but p2w and f2p should be much more balanced.

Greedy

Game is simple and fun with enough activities to keep you entertained here and there throughout the day but it is extremely pay to win and filled to the brim with micro transactions. As a free player you’ll be grinding the same quality items over and over with no upgrades other than your lv.

Events are not as advertised and all “jackpot” events are fixed so you only get the rare item “jackpot” after spending (X) amount of money, extremely misleading as most events as advertised as % based and you don’t know how much you actually have to spend. In fact all event auras, cosmetics, red gem charts, red pet gems are locked behind paywalls of at least $90 per event.

Game has potential to be great but events have become more and more expensive, leading to no incentive for f2p players and leading to servers dying fast.

Cherry on top is the devs favoring specific players and making dummy accounts to create spending wars between actual players.

Customer service is non existent and don’t expect any help from them if any of your purchases go missing.

Game is cool, stopped playing but I enjoyed it

Rage Mage is one of my favorite mobile games

After playing Rage Mage for about 2 months, I really enjoy this game. The automatic option to run cards to level up is great. I even got the auto rune running option as well. I’m now at level 113.

Getting into a good guild makes all the difference. My guild, Titans, has helped me understand parts of the game I didn’t understand as well (like how potential on equipment can only be activated if that item has that stat). So if your weapon doesn’t have critical on it, you shouldn’t waste resources buffing it as the critical boost won’t work.

The inclusion of rotating frequent events as well as cross server ones is fantastic. New content seems to be relatively regular.

I do think the island goblins should have a speed up boost you can buy with diamonds (of note, diamonds are free to get through carts or other areas, not pay to win only).

As it stands, this is the best game without required ads on my phone for quick enjoyment. I can spend 10-15 minutes playing, then come back again later to spend a bit of time. There are some ads to get free boosts if you want (or you can use diamonds for those boosts), but never any ads during game play. You can play without spending a dime, or you can buy some items if you want with money. There are great guilds, too. I think finding a guild is the single best way to ensure success. I love the camaraderie. It’s unlike any other mobile game I’ve played for that aspect alone.

Super fun and keeps you entertained

This is one of the only mobile games I have actually been able to play without getting bored after a couple days or weeks. There are a lot of fun events that are different every week and as you go up in level you unlock more stuff to do. The guilds are also really cool to be in.
There is a little bit of pay to win, but you can still get pretty good rankings and it can be a bit tedious at times. But overall I think it’s a great game to pass time and it’s really fun to play.

Could have been great

It’s not free to play, you cannot compete without the ruin pass. Every event is rigged for whales only and jackpots are not available to FTP players. They make efforts to improve the game but it all ends up as lame cash grabs that push the game further down the toilet.

PvP/Duel Mode is being Exploited STAY AWAY

Started this game a few days before quickly realizing how exploitable their current PvP/duel system is. For example a if you attack someone much lower rank than you, you still get a large number of duel points like 16, and if you attack someone higher than you at most you’ll get 19. That’s the first problem, is that it promotes beating people lower than you without needing to be higher/better than those above. The exploitable part of this is that a whale can continue to beat down all of the lower players every 2 MINUTES giving them -16 duel points while not attacking their own guild mates, allowing them to gatekeeper the upper echelon of the duel server. I am the second highest/strongest on my server but because of this EXPLOIT I am all the way down to the 7-9 spot constantly. The only person able to lower me is the #1 player. I highly advise staying away from this game and not spending ANY money on this until this exploit is fixed.
