  • The future of books!

I have been a fan of this project for nearly two years, and love what they are doing.

Fully owned digital books that you can gift, trade, sell, keep, pass down to next of kin etc, everything you can't do with current ebooks.

More importantly, the content creator receives royalties on every sale, not just the first, and they have the ability to intereact with their content owners. This is a new revolution!

It's still early days, and I'm super-excited to see Audiobook support in this version, just in time for Wizard Tim!

    Congrats book.io team!

  • Amazing

The only bookstore where you actually OWN the books… Amazon and the rest of them sell you a Lisence, and if they just so happen not to like the books anymore, they’re removed from your library.

Not here. This is a place for you to read your NFT books that you OWN.
  • Much improved from V1!

Love the addition of dark mode! It feels SO MUCH FASTER than the original version of the app. The books load quickly and I don’t get the reloading screen like I used to. Definitely still looking for more features…would love to be able to press and hold on a word to bring up the little contextual menu where I can select “Look up”, as is standard through most of the OS. Would love to be able to use that to see definitions without having to leave the app. App feels great, much improved, looking forward to many more features to come!

  • The future of books

Book.io harnesses the innovative power of blockchain technology to redefine the experience of book ownership in the digital age. This cutting-edge app empowers readers with true ownership of their purchased content, free from the constraints of traditional centralized platforms. It echoes the tangibility of owning a physical book, yet with the added flexibility and modernity of the digital world. Not only does it allow you to immerse yourself in a diverse library, but it also offers the unique opportunity to resell your digital books. This feature not only fosters a sustainable reading culture but also adds a dynamic aspect to your digital library, much like a traditional bookshelf.

Fantastic release by the Book.io team here. So much happening at such a fast pace. They are changing the ebook landscape and I'm excited to be here for the ride.

    Hoping for multiwallet support next.

  • A New Era for Reading 📖

An application like this is revolutionary for the reading world. The ability to actually OWN your books on the internet with the option to sell & trade them with others is one of those things you didn’t know you needed till you try it.
  • Nft

Amazing. Project. Nice very simple app to use.
  • Scam?

Encouraging the use of hot wallets in the crypto space because the devs are too lazy to do security first is a red flag.

If you have a hardware cold wallet, you will be required to compromise your security to participate.

    Developer Response

Hello, currently cold storage wallets like Ledger do not support CIP-8 sign verification, which is required for Cardano wallets. This is something that wallet and Hard wallet providers need to work on. You can find more information on this by contacting your Hard wallet provider. If you like further assistance please email our support team at support@book.io. Thank you
