I bought this with very low expectations but since I've been using it, JoyFusion has become the new standard in image generation for me.
The biggest and most important thing that attracted me to it and keeps me using it is that my prompts remain securely on my laptop. I don't need to turn my image ideas over to big AI for critique, and without the restrictions tied to online AI sites, I can finally have AI create that image of a firebreathing dragon that never fails to violate guard rails on the bigger AI sites.
All that being said, and while I'm thrilled with the app so far, there are a few suggestions I would make:
1) Better documentation. I've been searching for what different settings do and where specific components on disk are stored but, I have yet to be able to find (at least in English) documentation that defines all the settings, let alone gives me storage locations.
2) And speaking of storage... my laptop, where JoyFusion is running, has only a 512GB hard drive. Since Joyfusion doesn't give the option of customizing the location of the Model files, and they are are huge, they are consuming a rather egregious amount of storage on my laptop's boot drive.
So, those are my gripes with the program. As you can see, they really are just annoyances more than anything. All-in-all, it's a solid application and well worth your money.
If I can make a request, though: Let us customize where the model files are stored so they can be stored off the main hard drive or on external storage so as not to eat up our boot hard drive space. Because with the APFS file system, when it fills, it breaks.
If the model files could be redirected off the main drive, even without viable documentation, JoyFusion would have a five star rating from me.
