  • Worst app

For years this has been one of the worst engineered and designed apps I’ve ever seen. It makes watching WEC so painful. The video fails to start constantly, it won’t rotate to landscape properly and often jumps back to portrait at the slightest movement, it also changes the ratio to be the wrong landscape size cutting off the bottom of the video, you can’t easily jump around the video with the slider, there’s no 10-30s skip forward/backward buttons next to play button which is so basic, the order screen takes up too much space per car and doesn’t show all the gap to class and next car timing, nor does it make it easy to see the energy remaining or pit order… it’s just so bad in so many ways, yet it’s such a simple app. It feels like there’s zero engineering or product leadership or accountability. PLEASE hire a new team to make this app usable. PLEASE.

  • US Video Coverage

I am disappointed that the app does not provide live or delayed video coverage of Le Mans in the United States; rather we have to either be a Max cable subscriber or have a convoluted two part streaming subscription. This was the first year I over a decade I was not able to watch the race here in the US. Very disappointing, but thank goodness for Radio Le Mans streaming audio.

  • Informed

This app keeps you up to date and gives you everything you need to enjoy this spectacular series.
  • Great content but Unable to cast with the app

This app for some reason can't cast to another device. It never requests local network access so iOS doesn't give the option to allow it local network access.
  • Cannot watch half of the content in the US

Very frustrating after paying for full version, I cannot watch most do the 24 Hours of Lemans free practice videos because the content is blocked in my country. I have been using the app since January and I managed to watch coverage of the earlier WEC races, but since the 24 hours is Lemans update came out last week the expertise has been utterly horrible!!! I feel stupid that I recommended it to my friends 😡

  • Horrible App, extremely annoying

Almost everything on this is hard to navigate, confusing, or straight up annoying. When watching races if you tilt you phone slightly it will switch to a vertical posture showing it much smaller. Also, when you try to revert back to the horizontal position, the screen shrinks a bit and blocks some of the driver/team stats. Compared to an app such as the IMSA or Formula 1 app, this needs a lot of improvements and updates. Finally it is also extremly difficult to find qualifying results.

  • Lacking Standard UX Features

This app works. News, live streaming, it’s all there.

But the app doesn’t let you control portrait/landscape orientation on iPad. Videos are always played in landscape, and the UI is always set to portrait. I thought Apple required orientation switching by the user…
  • Super App

As a US- based endurance racing fan, our coverage is very biased towards NASCAR and Indy, which I find boring. The WEC app has the info I’m interested in and I highly recommend it! Great information!
  • Easiest way to watch WEC

The app is essentially a web viewer for the WEC TV website, but it works well and it is easy to find the current race as well as recordings for earlier in the season. There is a seasonal race calendar as well as live timing tables. Licensing restrictions for the US make finding all of the races a little complicated, 24h of Le Mans and the Lone Star race are unavailable on the app.

  • Don’t leave home without it!

Love this app, best way to watch all the races while you’re on the road.
