Look for another Christian dating app.
Questionable app / developer at best. Appears to be a small business on the surface with some standards, but to more you get into the startup process the more it appears to be a scam. The approval process is a joke, not realistic, and even with valid photos they won’t admit you. They will respond after multiple days, but with a pre-canned message. I’m not sure if it is a Christian company that does not know what they are doing, or a scam hiding, either way I’m avoiding this app and will go to more trusted sources to find godly people. I need to trust the company, and it is questionable to me at least. PS, the app does not work on any new iPhone even though they claim it will if it is updated.Seemed good at first.
Higher Bond at first seemed great. It had some great things to say against the cheap tiktok attention span of many young people today simply swiping and looking for cheap thrills and not having enough character to commit to something genuine. I didn’t realize however that higher bond doesn’t allow you to search for other members at all. It suggests 5 members a day they think are a match for you rather than allowing you to search for the members you want to talk to and only lets you initiate one new conversation a day under the guise of “quality over quantity”. It seems to have a misconception that you can’t get to know multiple people at once which is silly because it’s not like you’re in a serious relationship with multiple people at once, you’re just getting to know them and seeing if you would like to be more serious, but that aside, not being able to search for partners on your own is absurd.Honest opinion: Meh..
Im not comparing this app to another nor do I have an bias for the targeted audience of Christian singles, of which I currently am. I just have to be honest, I'm not reaallly impressed with the level of, interactions with users on this app; there's profiles, but no conversations (so far, for me, 2 weeks in).
I really like this app's mindset on 'less time swiping and be more thoughtful in your choice' approach. I like that theres a devotional too - potential conversion starter. I like the dating tips [for individuals who value and want that].
But the objective, is the meet people, or have conversations with people that can lead to relationships, right? Obviously if its not a match its not a match, but yeah. "Maybe it needs more people" excuse is a valid point. But it's my opinion so far. I'm happy to change it😁👍
