Description of Hooked

Hooked monitors your boat's position to ensure you are within a certain radius of your anchor. If the distance exceeds the set limit, it sounds an alarm. This is the only anchor alarm that delivers the same fast and reliable experience locally and remotely without draining your device’s battery as you explore the shore. Features: - View your boat's track around your anchor, varying in color to make identifying the more recent points easier - Cancel, resume or repeat an anchor session locally or remotely - View previous sessions and history - Customize units (distance and coordinates) and track appearance - Sync between devices and remotely monitor (requires 2 devices running Hooked) - Share with family/friends to monitor from their device - Connects to NMEA devices (chartplotters, Peplink routers, etc.) for more precise GPS location (for example if using a WiFi-only device onboard) - Leverage your chart plotter to remotely view depth and wind speed - Ignores GPS locations with low accuracy to reduce false alarms - Allows you to test and set the alarm volume - Customizable low battery alarm Note: Remote monitoring requires 2 devices with Hooked installed and an active Hooked Premium subscription on the device that will remain aboard the vessel. • On target

The app is simple and accurate. I had dragged twice in one hour on a new-to-me boat and ground tackle. Actually the 6th time with this boat. It was time for peace of mind so when I had finally set the anchor, I downloaded the app. Totally happy with the performance. Now it's time for a new anchor.
  • Exactly what I was looking for.

Non cellular iPad connect to DataHub and pulls in data from the NMEA 2000 system. Streams boat information to my phone when I’m not on the boat. So far, the best anchoring app I’ve found for the type of information I wanted when away from the boat.
  • Mitel Bay Grenada

Winds, current and tide twisted us around our chain. I was able to “ move “ the anchor so our swing was just inside the alarm radius. Got a peaceful night after the first learning session. Don’t leave it on if you dinghy into a bar. You WILL get an alert.
