  • Keep up the hard work!

First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Corah on their first anniversary! Without further ado, let's delve into the review. Initially, I was hesitant to give this game a try, but being an avid fan of idle games, I decided to take a chance on it after stumbling upon an ad for it on Reddit. Upon downloading and completing the tutorial, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite having several MMORPG elements, I found its simplicity to be its strongest selling point. However, it's not a game for those who lack commitment, as I was booted from a top-ranked clan for being a casual gamer who didn't use gems to boost my experience points. Nevertheless, I'm thoroughly enjoying playing at my own pace, and the community is generally helpful and welcoming. The UI can be clunky at times, but with time, you become accustomed to it. It's right in front of you, but you don't even realize it's there. Overall, I'd rate this game a 3 out of 5 since it's incredibly addictive and hard to put down. I would have given it a higher rating if I didn't feel compelled to log in around the clock to gather loot. That being said, I appreciate it for what it is. Lastly, may I please have my soul back?

  • The semi-casual masterpiece

Corah is a game that has filled a niche place in my heart. It is the perfect idler during work or doing other things. Being able to jump into chat whenever I can to hang out with guildies is the best. Being able to simply have the game open while I’m at work or playing other video games or even reading is the best. I feel it’s the perfect mix of a passive idle. You do need to be online in the app but once you set your potions and attack it’s passive. Imo the monthly membership is a must, I enjoy supporting a f2p game. There is not “winning” in Corah it’s progressing and making friends (with a bit of gambling!). $5.99 a month is super cheap compared to other idle games and Corah does NOT have a vip system encouraging additional spending. The devs care about the game and listen to player advice, some things are unimportant or unreasonable and the devs stick with it, which I respect. Overall the game has become part of my daily life. I truly enjoy it and hope to continue supporting the game for the foreseeable future!!

  • Still addicting

Started playing about 7-8 months ago. Everything I was looking for in a mmo grind but not as much active effort. The one "downside" is this game does require you to be on and another is when you are "afk" or the offline farming, it will only provide exp and gold. The reason makes sense - to cut down on people making multiple accounts and boosting their main account. Emulators make it easier to play and obviously bots and automation is banned for multi axcount abusers but the Dev is pretty on top of banning anyone who breaks the rules. Coming from playing gacha games and leaving it on as long as I'm awake prepared me for this game. The game's on when i wake up and I'll pass out with the phone in my hand quite often. Would recommend for people like me who like the progression but not the active gameplay of an mmo. The community is great for the most part and are pretty helpful. The game is simply addicting for me 👍

  • Amazing from a f2per

Highly recommend for fans of idle games / rpgs. Usually with free games too you hit a wall where you’re really disadvantaged if you don't start paying for stuff, but here you earn gems pretty quick and everything you can purchase is just basic quality of life stuff. I haven’t spent anything and I’m already 1.5 months in having a blast.

The community is awesome too and help new people out with gear, advice, etc. Again I’d definitely recommend this one!

  • Love it

Game sucked me in right away. Little learning curve but not too bad lol, although since the new update it seems like there’s something every day that isn’t working.
Most gets fixed pretty quickly, atm, the combine all button has disappeared…. Which in and of itself isn’t terrible, but at the same time, I pay to use this feature….. it’d be nice to be able to use said features, or at least get another free month or some kind of compensation for all these issues lately.

Thanks for your review ❤ The combine all button disappearing, it's the first time we read about this. Could you please contact us via the 'Support' button in the game? This way we'll be able to locate your account and help you :-)
  • Extremely solid idle/active MMORPG

Honestly I went into this game with little expectations but iv been blown away with how fun it is. The community is very active and very friendly. The devs are also super chill. The game just recently got a huge update and it’s been a nice addition to the game. If you enjoy idle games or games like Melvor idle I highly recommend you give this a try. It does get rather grindy in the mid game but that’s typical for this type of game. The game also has no advertisements and is supported by player purchases for items like monthly boosters and smaller items of that nature. It’s completely fair and I never feel like I’m being screwed over when I spend money in game. That said you could play the game completely free and still make decent progress. The game also has a player market witch you can sell items to other players for the “paid” currency. It’s very similar to how Warframe handles plat.

Just give this game a try and see how you like it. Iv been playing for about 40 days now and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.

    Give me Hoard Scroll Core!!!!!

  • Install This Game

As others have said, Corah is a hidden gem on the App Store. You’ll be hard pressed to find a dev who cares more about their game- and it shows in the thoughtful design, gameplay loop, and social elements. I really like how you can choose to play for a few minutes here and there (check in, run to town, and afk farm), or easily kill hours in-game upgrading your gear, questing, and crafting.

The best part however is the community. Players have been refreshingly non-toxic and friendly- always willing to answer questions via the in-game chat system. If you’re on the fence please do install, you won’t regret it. After getting over the initial learning curve, Corah quickly became my go-to game on iOS. (IGN: Graybush)

  • Breath of fresh air

First let me say how impressed I was to learn that one man made this game, the game being only a year old, being actively developed and updated, and so nice to see a dev that not only listens to player feedback, accepts suggestions and talks to the players, but actively plays his own game. I think we all know of countless other games where we find ourselves saying that the devs don’t care about the players or the game itself, but not this one. I am thoroughly impressed, not only with the Dev, but the game itself, and the community, it is the least toxic one I have ever come across. I believe this game will make it far. More than 5 stars if I could

Thanks so much for your review ❤ Very glad you like Corah. I've done the game concept, architecture, balancing, etc. myself but also got a team working, fortunately :-)
  • Pay $6 a month to avoid tedious inventory management!

Thrilling gameplay like paying $6 a month to unlock the “combine all” button awaits you. Of course, this is such a value because combining items once (when you have 8 “combines” to do in an item stack after like 10 minutes) is as annoying as possible by closing out of the item’s UI after each combine.

Really innovative because most other games just give players streamlined UI elements for free or as part of the game’s box price. But making it - and other ways to avoid unnecessarily tedious UI actions - be part of a $6 premium (or “challenger”, the naming is not consistent) package is massive.

I’ll just play other games instead that don't charge recurring fees to circumvent their awful UI but thanks anyway!

Corah has no ads. No paywalls. It's completely free to play. Premium doesn't grant any +EXP etc. It's only about QoL. The most players buy premium to support the development. Imagine, we have to pay the bills somehow :-)
  • Purposeful inconvenience

The game is extremely simple, but a fun number go up idler. If purposeful inconvenience wasn’t built into this game as a means for QOL driven micro transactions I would have stuck with it. In the game a resource that is farmed to upgrade gear, etc., has different tiers. 5 of one tier can be combined to create the next tier. As you amass this resource you’re sat there combining them 5 at a time because the ability to combine all is locked behind premium. Really disappointing feature of gameplay and poor monetization design.

    Developer Response

Corah is free to play. It has no ads at all. Also the full game content is available to all free to play players. There are no paywalls. But there is a 6$ premium (no VIP levels, etc.) which supports the game development (and which is 100% optional!). Hiring a team of developers and artists, buying servers and maintaining them, advertising, etc. costs huge amounts of money. So it's a good possibility to support Corah if you wish. Otherwise you're welcome to f2p for years without paying a dime or watching an ad. Because Corah has no ads.
