Nice Idea but…

This app fails to “hear” about 25% of the notes I play. It is slow and frustrating. It’s a great idea but just isn’t accurate enough to be fun.

Great game!

i love the fact that it’s so interactive. Beginner friendly, but a lot of fun for people that already have some guitar skills. Lots of fun!! 🎸🎸

A new way to get students excited about music!

This game has been incredibly motivating and fun for my students and they've learned more songs in one class than they would've have the "old-fashioned" way. It's an investment to make music fun for your kids - exploring new notes and songs has never been easier before. Love it!

Beginners immediately start playing

As a beginner, it’s frustrating playing boring exercises. Notey gets you playing songs immediately and helps you identify where you need to improve!

A really fun and engaging way to learn guitar!

This game has revitalized my interest in playing guitar and has shown me a new way to learn. I find myself progressing through each of the levels and quickly rising to new challenges. It gets harder and more fun the further I go.

I like how this app has adapted gameplay by using the guitar notes to control the character and fight the bosses at the end of each level. It’s so addicting! I just need to give my fingers a bit of a rest because I am not used to playing so much. Though I can’t wait to see how far I can get!

Great for beginners!

As a beginner guitar player, this app has so far been really user friendly and helpful! I’m just starting the game but so far I really like that it teaches you at a reasonable pace and progresses in a way that makes sense. Love that there’s a little background to the game in the beginning too.

Incredibly helpful for learning

This game has been awesome for learning the acoustic guitar because it lets me learn at my own pace. It also helps me get comfortable playing my own instrument which I really appreciate.

Unique and Fun

this app has everything. notes. music. lessons. rewards. cute note characters… haha
but in all seriousness this app is truly unique.
i have tried to learn guitar multiple times in my life, and this was the most fun ive ever had doing it.
it’s like guitar hero but i can play a real guitar, and it tells me when i hit the wrong note.
im really excited to keep using it!
