You don’t know what you don’t know
Style and fashion can often feel like knowledge that was handed out to others while you were out of the room. I often wondered why others seem to find it effortless to look good while I struggled … finding April was a true eye opener, and possibly a closet opener in a way of being able to decode trends without looking overly trendy, classic without dated as well as all those tips and tricks that might feel silly but make all the difference.
Having all that knowledge in one place to take in let’s you use what you need, when you need it. There are extended community features in the app, a smidge of fashion “gamifying” for those who love that sort of thing as well as a very supportive community.
You are not forced to do it all or shamed if you just pick and choose what you need and I like that. Yes, it costs money ( but how much have I wasted on things that never were worn?), so if the confidence and fashion fairy has not visited you so far, investing in yourself seems like a reasonable option.
