  • Need iPad version

    Best note taking app ever
  • Unworkably buggy

I began using Capacities as my note taking app. The idea is great, but the app isn’t usable. Limited functionality (eg can’t create types) and several bugs that don’t even let me finish a simple list
  • Looking forward to more

Been looking for a new note-taking/organization app and man I really love this one. The concept really clicks for me in a way that Notion and a bunch of other apps just couldn’t. I’m going to keep using it and look forward to more development, especially the focus on offline usage. I don’t love the AI features and wouldn’t ever use them. I’d consider paying for it but I think the lowest tier is just a little too much for me.
  • iPad version

I would like to suggest an iPad version of your app. There is just too little screen space to effectively use the app on my iPhone. I use my iPad for most all of my planning and organizing. Thank you for a great app.
  • Another vote for iPad version!

I just deleted my web shortcut in anticipation for app but then it says my device isn’t supported.
Recreating shortcut and uninstalling app. :-/
iPad is such a great interface for traveling with my “capacities brain” to see everything in “desktop” view, but super portable and interactive with the touch screen… since Apple will never allow touch screens on MacBooks.
Hopeful for iPad app one day soon!
  • No iPad Version

I do most of my work on my iPad Pro.

I have been using your web app and was excited to learn that you had released a mobile app.

I installed your app on my iPad, logged on and was greeted with "Not Supported" . . . only then did I realize that your "mobile" app is for iPhone only, and I cannot use it. I was sorely disappointed.

It is not at all practical to send an item to Capacities on my iPhone, stop working on my iPad, pick up my iPhone, retrieve the item I sent from my iPad and enter it into Capacities.

Please, please, please port your great app to iPad - Why wait. because your iPhone version can be readily pushed forward to run in landscape mode on an iPad.

I will continue using your web app until you release your iPad verion

For you people curious about Capacities and want to use it on your iPhone . . . go for it. This app is great!
  • After trying the rest, I'm sticking with the best

I've tried Obsidian, Logseq, Tana, Apple Notes, Things, Notion, Heptabase and Reflect. I overlooked Capacities due to the relative lack of complexity, but I'm glad I finally gave it a try. I'm not exactly sure why, but I've been the most motivated to stick with Capacities.

It has the perfect amount of options and configurability for me without going overboard and dooming me to plugin rabbit holes. It also comes with a solid philosophy which fits with my mental chaos perfectly.

I especially love the ability to create custom object types and use it to track anything I want, which for me is: people, meetings, organizations, projects, books, websites, tweets, apps, quotes, obstacles, ideas, prompts, chats, memories, dreams, values, goals, daily notes, images, audios, PDFs, etc. This alone gives me so much peace of mind it's not funny.

It currently does have less customizable features compared to the other tools, but for once in my life I'm happy to have less customizability because what they chose to implement is clean, responsive and well-made.

On top of that, the stability and performance has been great for me.
  • Extremely helpful and Convenient!

I use this on my laptop for book logging and research. This will allow more flexibility so I don’t have to use my laptop every time to log. Thank you for this.

Suggestion if not already on the table:
    -Allow for iPad compatibility
    -Additional note taking tools
