Gender error
I tried to find a “gender” option that fits my child but the app only gives “male and female” (which according to science are not gender options but rather medically sex assigned) as a result the story it created used incorrect pronouns and misrepresented my child. If the developers are interested in connecting with 21st century families they should google what “gender” means, and offer various pronouns choices instead of “male vs female” sex choices.

Good use of screen time!
My nephew loves it! We create and read several stories every time I babysit and he loves tapping on the animal to hear the sounds.

I got recommended for this app by the Instagram! I took the advice and we love it so much! My girls love seeing their names in the story’s! They also get to pick animals and other parts of the story! I would love to see this app evolve and we could choose more in the story’s! We are officially smart-dreams addicts!

Imagination comes alive at we love it!
What a great app! We just downloaded this app and my 8 year old can’t stop creating her own stories using SmartDreams. In just minutes she created an entire library of her own stories! Love that stories can be saved to read over and over again. Such a fantastic way to tap into kid’s big imagination and wonder! My daughter loves feeling part of the story! She’s having so much fun choosing the cute characters for her stories and gets excited very excited with each beautiful image that shows her as a character in the story. I highly recommend this app! Can’t believe it’s FREE! A great way to build a bedtime routine but also a fun app to use for reading and building creative writing skills. Thanks to the mom and dad team that created this! I think other parents will love this app too!

Cute app!
My kids and I have been trying this app for a few nights now! They have loved the idea of creating unique stories that not only includes them but also their favorite animals and food! We’re purchased multiple customized books and it’s a very sweet treat to have our kiddos do this on the whim and giggle throughout the whole process! Looking forward to more updates! Will certainly share this with mom friends && encourage all mamas with new readers to give this a shot!
