Possible scam
Just want to know if this is a scam. I downloaded the app and first thing required is a phone number. I never once downloaded an app that asked for phone number and have verification sent to confirm.
Any time I have to use 2FA it’s been established after (like setting up email with an app/bank/any membership) and the only time I’ve been asked for my phone number only to receive a code (and I did confirm with code) I ended up scammed, most of my identity and personal info compromised..
I bring this up because after downloading and receiving a “verification text code to confirm before accessing app” I received an unknown phone call…
So that’s scammer 101 is if the line is active- you know by replying to a text or answering their call. Once they have that it’s downhill from there. You already have email when downloading and name info.
If developer of app is doing this this is scary and I’m not sure how Apple regulates or approves. Because this is dealing with Homeschool children, their information and I think others should know that child trafficking is real- esp in America- If you didn’t know- this is your warning and for others to be sensitive about their info with apps shared. Guess we gotta go by the traditional ways and keep its recorded at home so our children’s/family info is not compromised
