What's New in 180 Days

1.32

April 14, 2026

This update fixes some minor bugs. 180 Days is an ETIAS compliant Schengen trip tracker and Days Used/Left calculator. When visiting the European travel free zone called the Schengen area you are only allowed to stay for up to 90 days in the previous 180. The rule applies in a rolling fashion, with each date of your stay looking back at the previous 180 days to ensure that at no point in your entire trip do you overstay your allowed 90 days.

Easy app to use

Viewing the app on more than one device

Can I view the app on both my iPhone 11 and iPad gen10 10 devices and do they sync?

Response from developer

Hello. Yes since version 1.31 there is an option in the app settings to automatically sync the trip data via Apple iCloud. Remember to turn it on on all your devices you want to sync with each other.

Best tool

Reviewed a few tools. The others overcomplicate what is a simple calculation. This is the clearest and most user friendly in my opinion.

It’s not Free

It not obvious that there will be a charge after 30 days and the cost I cannot find at all

Response from developer

Hi DumboSC, apologies that you did not spot that there is an optional charge after 30 days if you want to retain the advanced calculations info. The app store download does say it has in-app purchases, and in the App Settings it has a Buy Now button with the price on it, and also that indicates how many of your initial 30 days are left. We will investigate if we can make this clearer...

Perfect

Simple, works well, and charges a reasonable price as a one-off - no subscriptions thankfully!

FAQ

What does the 180 Days app do?

The 180 Days app is an ETIAS compliant Schengen trip tracker. It calculates how many days you have used and have left within the Schengen Area's 90-day limit in any 180-day period. It helps you avoid overstays by analyzing both past and future travel plans.

How does the 90/180 day rule work?

The Schengen Area allows visitors to stay for a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period. This rule is applied in a rolling fashion, meaning each day of your stay is checked against the previous 180 days to ensure you do not exceed the allowance.

Is the 180 Days app free to use?

The app requires a one-time purchase for unlimited access to all features. This is a lifetime purchase that is tied to your Apple account, allowing you to use it on any supported devices you own.

Can I use this app for planning future trips?

Yes, you can enter your future planned trips into the app. It will then calculate the impact of these trips on your 90/180 day allowance, showing you how many days will be used upon arrival and departure, providing peace of mind.

What devices is 180 Days compatible with?

The app is designed for local storage on your Apple devices, such as iPhones and iPads. Your trip information is stored securely on your device and is not transferred to the developer or any third parties.
