Rarity update?

I really enjoy this game. I have always wished i could play a coin roll hunting simulator because as I have gotten older, real coin roll hunting has become a bit dull.

I love the little minigames but I feel like wheaties are way too common. Of course the reason wheat pennies are so rare even though their mintages are just as big is because of all the people collecting them, so if I had a box of pennies that had 10 wheaties a roll I’d be in heaven, but of course because this is a simulation, it makes finding the wheaties not as exciting.

Normally I’d be fine with that because I’d focus on trying to find the ultra rare key dates, however a few days ago I found TWO 1931-S’s and a 1924-D in the same roll. I’d only opened around 15 total rolls too. Because of this it feels a bit more tedious than fun

Maybe if there is a way to add rarity multipliers on the back end for wheat pennies and key dates, that would shake things up. And of course since this is just a casual thing, if other people prefer the current spawn rates, there could be different “difficulties”… all just my opinion of course.

I identify so much with the story and i appreciate you for making this game, just my two cents

1909 S VDB

My family use to collect pennies when I was a kid now my brother and I can see who gets them again. I enjoy this.

I really enjoy this app. I’m still playing with my brother. I’ve had problems since the last update... I was at 303, he was at 302 I did the update and the game was gone. I reloaded it and started again (I had 246). The next day I went to play and I had no pennies and only 5 rolls. I grumble and played them. The next day after playing I had 89 pennies. PLEASE PLEASE HELP. Can you fix this so I can take it back up to 5 stars. Thank You.

I got the latest update and now I can only see half the screen... somethings still not working right. Help. Thank you

11-23-20 It’s still not working right and I still have only a half screen. I took a picture of it and tried to put it here so you could see it and the app would not let me. Please Help. Thank you

Response from developer

I’m sorry you are having problems. Try resetting the App by going to menu / settings / reset. Unfortunately, all data will be lost and you will be starting over. I have never seen the issue you are seeing.

Play for free as long as you like!

Great game, and I love the personal story in the description! What more can you want out of the medium of games than to share a human experience and add it to our collective conscious? I would suggest moving the coin to the right a little from your touch point so I could look at it while dragging into collection, and a pop up text letting me know if it’s new, and a ! next to new ones I haven’t viewed in my collection, and what if there was a wishing well event where you could toss coins in the well?

Developer fixed issue

This is a fun game, but I think that there are too many wheat pennies in the game. Other than that I think this game is very fun, but please add some ocasional Indian head pennies. Well that’s all, The developer fixed the issue there was so thank you for that. You can not find a game like this anywhere else on the App Store.

Version 1.0.9 fixes this issue, but unfortunately, you will need to start over by going to menu / settings / reset. Sorry for this, but some of the libraries I am using broke with a recent iOS version update.
