iOS 27 broke in-app blocking
Ads that previously were being blocked fine are no longer being blocked after I updated to iOS 27. I've made sure to re-open the app and re-connect the von but they're still making it through.

Why isn’t the app working I can’t get it to do anything. How are you supposed to proof your age or whatever.
10 Years Later, I Still Recommend OneBlocker
BLUF: I’ve used OneBlocker for over 10 years, I bought the lifetime version years ago, and I absolutely recommend it.
It does what I bought it to do: reduces ads and trackers. I’ve seen it block thousands of them, and I only have a handful of apps on my iPhone.
It even helps with ads in some of my games. Sometimes instead of sitting through a 30-second or one-minute ad, I get a black screen. I just close the app, restart it, and keep going. I’ll take that any day over being forced to sit through an ad I never wanted to watch.
I already use Apple devices and Safari, so OneBlocker fits perfectly into my setup. After all these years, I’m still very happy I bought the lifetime version.

Good, but…
Can’t stop ads in things like Amazon Prime Video where as Brave/Brave Origin can. If it could do that it would be 5*.
Best Ad Blocker (and more)
I’ve used 1Blocker for a few years and it’s an excellent app. It works as advertised. It has a lot of different features and ways to customize it, which are all easy to use (and useful). There have been regular updates to the app. I really can’t think of anything to critique. It works!
Not as effective anymore
This app used to block ads in most of the apps I use. The Weather Channel, Buzzfeed, etc. Now they always get through and I'm constantly interrupted. I'm not sure what changed, but I'm not a fan.

Best Ad blocker, worth the price. I tried free version on blocker test site and it got really high score. On premium it blocks 97% ads on that test. I recommend.

The youtube ads before was possible to quick skip to end. After updating to ios 27 its not working

I’ve subscribed for a few years now. I copy and paste URLs into Safari and that’s worked out for me…“sort of.”

Breaks too many sites, normal things and doesn’t make any easy way to fix.

They collect your personal data and breach all possible acts like Yandex.
Can’t work with a VPN on
This essentially makes the app useless for me. If you don’t mind your IP address being public, it might work for you.
