Sweep the dial or tap any dot and read what happened then or there — a few sentences from the historical record. Great Zimbabwe and the Magna Carta sit at the same size. Enheduanna, the first author whose name we know, gets the same daylight as the Renaissance. 1History isn't a collection of historical facts. It's a different way of seeing history — spatially, simultaneously, and without automatically putting one civilization at the center. No account, no tracking, no server — your entire collection is in the app, on your device, pictures included. WHAT'S INSIDE • The spine: anchor events that give the globe its chronology, plus the starter cards — 400 events on the globe once the collection is on your device. • The library: hundreds more events to bring onto the globe, card by card. • Packs: choose a free regional pack and a free thematic pack. The first wave includes Marco Polo's Journey and Wonders of the World — with new waves to follow. • Game mode: up to ten players, free in every tier. BEFORE YOU INSTALL In some places, possessing or publishing certain historical material can be a crime. This app installs with a small set of events from the deep past; the full collection downloads only if you choose it, after a notice in the app. The store records the install itself regardless. A few events are withheld where carrying them is deemed dangerous.
