Often crashes
The app often crashes when reading an article. You open up the app and scroll to where you were up to then it crashes again. Many articles you can never finish reading.

Second time I’ve attempted to use this app as I like the reporting, but the app simply crashes and shuts down for no apparent reason. Frustrating.

Just get to the good bit in an article and the app crashes, restart app and it crashes in the same place again.

Not the app for latest news, and crashes frequently
Used to be my go-to for the latest news, but sadly the 1News app plays catch-up news for some time now. Breaking news? Don’t count on it. Probably due to staff shortage after its restructure.
The app crashes frequently, and repeatedly at the same ‘spot’ in an article when it crashed. Very frustrating when unable to finish reading an article.

Keeps crashing
Since updating to iPadOS 26.2, the app continually crashes, sometimes when opening, other times when halfway through an article. It is pretty much unusable now.
Errors
Lately this app has been crashing while scrolling and occasionally error messages when selecting articles. I am amazed at how many spelling and grammar mistakes are present. Do they not care?
Buggy crash ridden
Whenever the story exceeds a certain length , the app crashes and has to be restarted. I’m switching to a different news app.

Not sure of the cause but on both my iPad and iPhone the app keeps shutting done in the middle of an article.

The app keeps crashing, has been updated but continues to crash in the middle of the of reading articles.

What a terrible News app. All I get is notifications these days about Trump. And every single one has a negative slant. They never mention one positive thing he’s doing. Which there are plenty of. Talk about useless journalism. Think for yourselves people. I spend half my time in California so get the other side of the picture.

Hot screen high power consumption
Informative articles but the app drains the life from my phone battery. The screen is very warm to the touch, can you please fix this up? Thanks
Crashes
Regularly crashes and closes out for no reason. Videos on occasion crash or do not open especially when ads pop up.

Love the app great to get news I can trust and kept up-to-date with. Notifications keep me informed with what's happening. Couldn't do with out it. :)
Do NOT UPDATE
Every time I update this app the interface gets worse and harder to follow. And the ads that play before some videos have a skip button which comes up after 5 seconds, except you can’t press it! This is illegal!
Accessibility
Please add the accessibility feature ‘Speak selected text’ on app so I can select the text within my chosen articles, stories and have my phone read them out loud. Living with visual impairment provides struggles consuming your content on my iPhone
