Don’t bother if outside US
Nice app with great functionality - but tried ordering three items on the app that all offered free international delivery and a ‘discounted’ offer.
All three orders were cancelled or the seller wanted more money to ship to UK (even after taking payment).
In the end I bought nothing and gave up.

A shady version of The Real Real
The prices across the board on this site are set sky high! Indeed, you can assume they’re at least 20% above fair market value but more likely 80% to 100%. Exact duplicates I found on 1stDibs and TRR show asking prices of $800 and $200, respectively. Caveat emptor has never been so relevant as it is here.

Tried a couple of times to verify email but failed. Poor App on log in and sign up.
Bad experience
I have had some good experiences with FirstDibs but recently had a very bad one - relating to an expensive item that was not at all as represented by the seller. As clear as the misrepresentation was, 1st Dibs provided no help & the seller insists on my paying expensive return freight + a restocking fee. No more purchases on 1st Dibs for me. (Would not have given 1 star if I didn’t have to.)
