No written articles
If I wanted to watch news videos I’d go to YouTube. I want written articles, I can’t always watch a video, but I can almost always read an article. News 4 has a way better, user friendly app. This app feels lazy, almost like they can’t write anything anymore so might as well just post videos.
How did you make it worse!?
Tried it again, but no, if I’ve even opened the app and closed it, the next time I get in the car, I get a weather report rather than the music or podcast I was listening to. ***

I close the app, remove it from background, try to restart the podcast that was interrupted for a weather report and rather than the podcast playing (when I push play in the podcast app), the weather report starts again. I’ve deleted it
Worse than before, if that was even possible. Can’t even find local news. I don’t want to know what’s going on in California or the rest of the country. News2 has been my preferred source on TV for a long time, but the phone app is so bad I had to delete it.

Old App Was Better
The new version of this app is absolutely awful and impossible to navigate. Have supported KTVN for years but deleting this app for another local station.

The newly updated version of the app is leaps & bounds better than the previous version. Thank you for making it easier to navigate!
The ads waste my time
Every time I go to read a story, I have to listen to advertisements. I liked this app for the news, not the advertising
Difficult to read
This recent update is no good. The story titles are difficult to read. Many duplicate stories. Horrible layout
Bring Back the Old App
I really don’t like the new KTVN app. Please go back to the previous format that was easier to use. The story icons are to small (now giving lots of unused white space on the screen), the font below the picture does not have adequate contrast to the background and is too small - both resulting it the text being hard to read, the pictures themselves do not display the proper aspect ratio - making them look funny, and finally, there are way to many of the article that are video based. Bring back the text based stories, as reading these is more often more convenient than listing to the story. Will I need to go to another local news station’s app to get my news?

Login and notifications problem
I always get double notifications sent to me. Also when I open the app and select the Login In option it just bring up a blank page and never lets me log in. What is up with this app and why can’t someone work on fixing it?

I don’t know who designed you App but they should be fired. It is not at all user friendly and doesn’t really offer much in the way of current news!

I’ve tried to be patient with the app- hoping they would realize it’s a disaster and fix it. But to no avail. The old app was significantly better-there is no comparison. The news stories don’t even begin to cover 1/2 of what is going on in nevada. The weather feature is a nuisance. Frankly I’m going to delete it because it’s so generic and poorly done.

Terrible update
Used to be very reliable source for local news, now the app does not function correctly, the layout is terrible. Really miss the old app, would even be willing to buy it if that was an option. Much disappointed
App doesn’t even open!!
I have deleted and reinstalled twice. When I try to open the app, I get a pop up that says “No content available” “Retry or “Exit”. Retry gives me the same response and exit closes the app. I now have to go to a different news station app to get my news alerts.
WHY FIX SOMETHING THAT WASN’t BROKEN??!! Even when I saw this app kind of worked, I hated the format!

Terrible new app
I’ve added a star because there have been improvements, but still work to be done… thanks for getting rid of the horizontal scroll section and the stories are updating a little more. No more stars until the we get more written articles. You faked adding more with a sentence blurb under each. I’m not able to watch videos everywhere I want to catch up on news- please give us something to read!

The layout is not intuitive (scroll down for some articles and sideways for others, why?) How frustrating to wait so long for a new app, only for it to be worse than what it replaced. 2news, get your money back from the developer and get the content refreshed with new stories.

New app is not nearly as good as the original
I hate the new KTVN news app. There are no categories for national versus local news, health, or entertainment like there used to be. However, the most disappointing change is the lack of printed news stories. I used to be able to read 90% of my news in silence, but the new home page features about 95% video only stories. Go back to the old format KTVN—this new app we waited so long to get is very disappointing!

Waste of time
Warred a long time for nothing. It should be an embarrassment to KTVN management and staff. Is not informative at all. I’ve got to look elsewhere for my news.
