これは個人の意見です。
前作は知りません。
長文です

個人的な意見としては、いいと思います。
ただ、悪い点もあります。
良い点
次作にはない要素がある(次作では仕様が変わったため)(例:ジャンプなど)
コースの種類が次作より多い
加減速が良い
後ろの車両を気にせずに走行できる
ショートコースとロングコースが分けられている(良い所？)
悪い点
速度をかなり出せば大体は脱線する
速度計がない
車外視点がない
宇宙コースの隕石が鬼畜すぎる
グランドコースがあまりにも局所難で時々コースの難易度とはあまりにもかけ離れたギミックが出てくる
バグ
難解飛行のロングショートどちらにもある1回目の大ジャンプで最後の着地するところに引っかかる？(表現むずい)状態になってリトライすると大ジャンプの時の重力になって、浮いた利するバグ(楽しいので直さなくても個人的にはいいですが)
と、良いところより悪いところが若干多いですが、操作にも慣れれば簡単です。
てなかんじで星3です
遊ぶなら次作をおすすめします。

難解飛行レベル5でミスるともう1回始めた時に走り出すと何故か飛行するバグがある　 その後ホーム画面に行くとホーム画面の車両も浮いている(意味不明) 絶叫ファンコースがなぜかない 難解着陸のゴール判定がない ゴールした後にゲームオーバーの表示が出る バグを修正してください
後1番最初の絶叫トレインコースターを再リリースしてください
