The primary objective is to create a tile with the number 2048 by strategically dropping and merging numbered tiles. Players can also aim for higher numbers like 4096 and 8192.
Identical numbered tiles that collide will merge into a single tile with a doubled number. This applies vertically in the standard mode and both vertically and horizontally in the 2048+ mode.
The game offers bonuses like 'Division' to halve a tile's number, 'Pick Up' to move any tile, and 'Remove' to delete a tile from the field. These are activated by touching the bonus and then tapping the desired tile.
