Basic, but all you need.

Look, if you have a busy life and want a no-frills (and FREE) little tool to act like a digital post-it, don't look any further. I've only been using this handy app for a couple of days, but it seems to work beautifully. I lead a busy life, but I need my tasks at-a-glance, simple to use, even easier to manage, and on the one screen. No fancy extras - but, like the best Apple stuff, it just...works. Well done and thanks to the author!

It's free - if only it were Open Source, too.

First - the good: it's free. And it will, in fact, act as a to do list. Now the bad: The UI is pretty painful to use. Other reviews have detailed the ways in which it falls short. It's really too bad that it's not open source - it sounds like the author did this as a lark, and threw it up on iTunes so it wouldn't go to waste. A future in Open Source might have meant it would get an upgrade. I can't recommend using this - it's just too awkward. Most of the other Todo apps have their flaws as well, but none are as painful. Still, thanks Erica, for putting this out there.

Worth the price...

This application is TOO simplistic to be useful. It takes FOUR taps to be able to add an item before you can start typing the actual ToDo (1 - Tap the plus sign and a ToDo is created with the title "To Do"; 2 - Tap the newly created item; 3 - Tap the "edit" button, which confusingly enough has the same icon at the "new" button in many other applications; 4 - Tap the "X" to erase the current title of "To Do" ... NOW you are ready to start entering YOUR name ... way too many steps.)

Gets the job done, no fun, no style

You can add and delete tasks, set them as normal (dark grey) or high (red) priority, add notes to them and reorder your list. That’s it. When you mark a list item as complete, it turns light grey but stays put. The icon for the To Do app is a checkmark, so I thought it would provide a tick box to mark an item as complete. Instead, the procedure is much less intuitive: highlight the item, tap the priority level button labeled “123″ and then tap the “completed” button. When you don’t want to see it any more, press “Edit” and delete it the way we used to have to delete our email, one ponderous item at a time. To Do gets the job done competently but without a sense of style. It feels like submitting TPS reports in triplicate. I’ll definitely keep looking for something better.
