Not worth it at all
Totally not worth the money! Poor word selection and silly phrases. It has already got me misunderstood and in trouble. Really don't recommend
Great
Have you ever experienced like you wanna check the words but dont have a dictionary at that time?? Well This is just perfect. You can check any words wherever you want like on a train, bus etc.. Suits for native Japanese speaker level. If u have this one you don't need a dictionary. Suits for everyone like uni students, business people or even language school students. A bit pricy but def worth to pay

Best English-Japanese Japanese-English dictionary I've seen for iPhone
This is a great English-Japanese Japanese-English dictionary for anyone who is learning Kanji and comfortable reading in Hiragana/Katakana. While there is no furigana in the Japanese entries (as some have complained), the jump function (activated by holding down your finger over a world) will look up the word and give you the pronunciation and English translation. This is ideal for an intermediate/advanced student of Japanese because while readings and definitions are available, they are not presented in a way that disturbs you from reading Japanese in its natural form. This is also helpful to see how looked-up words get translated back. I do not understand reviews complaining this product requires knowledge of all kanji. That is certainly not the case. The dictionary has helpful example sentences in Japanese and English which greatly enhance it as a study tool. While it is not perhaps the most comprehensive dictionary available, it is by far the best dictionary I have seen available for the iPhone both in terms of content and ease of use.

スプラッシュ画面
使いやすく、内容も充実していて非常に良いのですが、アプリ起動時にスプラッシュ画面が出て、それが消えるまで待たなければいけないのがイライラします。出ないようにするか、素早く消して即検索画面に移る方法はないのでしょうか?
2.0 is a huge improvement
The recent 2.0 update is a huge improvement. Faster startup, highlighting kanji within definitions and searching for results, better interface, and searching for words within phrases, the specific word or within other definitions. The best eng-jpn/jpn-eng dictionary available on the app store.
Excellent study tool
for JLPT2 and higher students of Japanese. Avoid unless you are intermediate or advanced. It is the dictionary I turn to when looking up new vocabulary. Having sample sentences in Japanese context is priceless. Worth every penny. Only wish is, it'd be great if there were a way to just browse entries!
For those of you complaining about the lack of romaji, I highly recommend that you eradicate it from your studies ASAP. It will mess with your pronunciation and cripple your reading skills. IMHO even furigana will hurt your learning in the long run.
V2.0 was released recently. The GUI is not as slick as before but there is a lot of added functionality: jump, sample sentence search, set phrases, bookmarks, history, etc. Overall, a nice upgrade in terms of functionality.

Fast, accurate.
A good J-E dictionary, just needs English localization.
The best Japanese dictionary on the iPhone!
Version 1 of this dictionary was already my favourite Japanese dictionary on the iPhone (I own quite a few of them, free and paid), but with version 2 installed this morning, things got even better!
The dictionary itself is of a very high quality and the user interface is fast, simple and effective. The best part of version 2 is that it finally adds a jump feature which makes things _much_ better for non-native Japanese learners.
In the end, this is a dictionary intended for native Japanese speakers learning English, so the audio entries are English only and aren't useful for English speakers. The user interface is in Japanese and if you look up an English word you probably need to use the jump feature to look up the kana for the pronunciation of the Japanese translation. This isn't a dictionary for non-native Japanese speakers who aren't already studying Japanese.
But if you are a native Japanese speaker or are learning Japanese and want the best Japanese dictionary on the iPhone, my opinion is that this is it. Compared to the price of e-dictionaries, the price is very cheap, and this has the advantage of being on the phone rather than having another device to carry around.

They've added a lot of useful functionality to this version
This is a nice E-J-E dictionary, which has just become much more useful through the addition of a Jump facility. You can now highlight a word in a definition, and the dictionary will take you to the highlighted word's definition. (Just like my old Sharp Papyrus!)
Useless for non-kanji readers.
I bought this the first week it came out. I can't read kanji so going from E-J as an english speaker the app is useless. I emailed them about it and their response tone was "thanks but don't look for it soon." meaning it'll probably never have it, and I wasted $20ish bucks. Not to mention this was before apple allowed for refunds so I can't get one.
