Excellent Blackjack Teaching Tool
I purchased this app to practice counting cards and learn how to play blackjack in general and it's great for just that. The statistics are useful and deep. The options are realistic and varied, as well as easy to configure. The gameplay is as fast or as slow as you want it to be. My only criticism is that I think it should initially deal up to 5 hands instead of only three. But I realize it might be as it is due to screen limitations of the iPhone.
I disagree with the few comments I've read about the game being unrealistically weighted towards the dealer's advantage. I don't find this to be the case. I find that when I'm properly counting cards my percentage of advantage hovers around where it statistically would in any actual blackjack game. In fact the game keeps track of your win and loss percentage as well as further breakdowns of other situational factors. It's an excellent game.Show lessP_trick
Worth the $$$
I'm not sure about other blackjack games in the App store, but this one is worth the change. It's as simple or complicated as you want it to be. I find it fun to play and interesting learning how to play better. Chances are you'll play this game as often as I do (daily =).
If you have an iPad, there is an HD version you should purchase instead. It actually installs this version on an iPhone as part of a package deal. I went ahead and bought the other version too to support this fantastic developer. There may be other Black Jack games in the App Store, but this is (as far as I know) the only true simulator!Show lesstheFATangel
