Reviews of Texas Hold’em

  • RIGGED & EGREGIOUSLY STATS DEFYING

The game determines outcomes and your win rate regardless of actual hand probabilities. Read the other reviews about how often your winning hand that has dominant odds loses to someone who had 3 or less outs on the river. Or how often you lose despite having 12-15 outs from the flop. The worst part is you’re going to lose because your trips you flopped will frequently lose to a runner-runner hand on the turn and river. In this app it’s so common. The app encourages bad play and opponents seem to know the cards (who the heck goes all in on 4-9 off suit on low pair with when there is already a potential straight and flush on the table?!). The computer clearly cheats and the app rigs the outcomes against you.

The app may be good to pass time but don’t expect it to play fair. This app is probably worse than any of the others in terms of TILT & rigged AI play.
  • Good could be Great.

This is a really cool app and one that I think you guys at Apple should keep working on and adding too. (please)

In single player, Instead of hands insta skipping after folding.. I would like to see how the hands play out. It allows me to see who bets when and on what cards.
( for example is someone ships it all on ace high they are a weak player.)
    - adding an option in settings so players can decide whether they want hands to skip or play out after folding would be amazing.

Also a different dealer would be nice. I’ve only seen one guy so far. And it’s hard to blame the dealer for bad cards or bad dealing when it’s one dude lol.

An option to tip the dealer would be cool too for immersion, especially after big hands or hitting a set or full house on the river.

Overall big fan of the app. I really hope you guys keep improving on it as it could easily become the #1 poker game in the market.

Oh and let me keep my chips after I win in single player smh. 😂
  • RIGGED & UNREALISTIC

Read all the other reviews about how often hands are lost on the river.

Here’s the catch… the game alters outcomes and defies probabilities when you are connected to the internet. Comparatively, playing this game offline results in much more statistically consistent outcomes.

What also needs to be mentioned when playing this and being connected online is how often your winning hand that has dominant odds loses to someone who had 3 or less outs on the river. The worst part is you’re going to lose because your trips or straight will lose to a straight flush or some random and highly unlikely outcome. In this app it’s so common. It almost seems like the app determines how often it’ll let you win. The app encourages bad play and opponents seem to know the cards (who the heck goes all in on 4-9 off suit on low pair with when there is already a potential straight and flush on the table?!). The computer clearly cheats and the app rigs the outcomes against you.
