Despicable tactics. Zomato is the worst company/app
They make you download an update to urban spoon which forces you to Zomato. Urban spoon was a great simple and effective app. $$$ is what it's all about and getting rid of a highly rated and useful app.

You zomato guys are real scumbags. I loved this app. I've been using it since the dawn of the App Store. You people twisted it into just another generic restaurant app. Now there's nothing unique about it, the iconic spinner is gone, and the app that started it all has been bricked in a sadistic forced rebranding.

Zomato has ruined Urbanspoon
Since buying Urbanspoon, Zomato removed lots of great features from Urbanspoon and generally downgraded the service & app. We've seen this a number of times, where a great service gets purchased and then "fixed" even though it was not broken. It's a terrible business move, but sometimes the companies that do the buying have more money than sense.

Very handy app for those wishing to explore for places to eat. Found the find 'near me' function particularly useful recently while spending time traveling in country Victoria to locations I was unfamiliar with. Well laid out, giving lists of restaurants in the area listing restaurant type (ie. Asian, Pub food, Italian) and rating given by users. Only suggestion for new users - don't look too closely at the percentage score restaurants are given without reading the actual reviews: a lot of knobs who fancy themselves as MasterChef judges giving negative score to restaurants over petty details - Eg. "We were given the wine list before viewing the menu!" etc. Unfortunately, there is no idiot filter function available at this time, so you will just have to use your own. I am a flight attendant & this app is by far the best for international travelers who find themselves in a pickle deciding where to eat. Has saved me from expensive & crappy hotel food on many occasions. Thanks Urban Spoon!Dean19802
