  • Beautiful

To shadow the last reviewer, this app is smooth and has no ads. This is how apps should be
  • The best one

I have tried a lot of different Othello apps, searching (unsuccessfully) for one that supports different board shapes and sizes. Of all the many versions in iOS the one I kept is Morocco. It’s smooth, well drawn and nicely interfaced. The rest are distinctly amateurish in comparison. And no intrusive ad garbage of the kind that wrecks 90% of the Apple ecosystem nowadays!

  • Don’t Pay For It

I just paid $AUS1.49 for the HD version and it’s very buggy. You can’t get off the settings page to play after you’ve adjusted the graphics. Very poor from what was an OK time filler
  • WOW

IF YOU WANT A GAME THAT CHEATS BE MY GUEST A GET THIS
  • Nice engine

Good, clean interface and not a bad engine underneath, and a very nice way to get started on Reversi/Othello. Has a tendency to give away vulnerable locations (b7, b2, g2, g7) early on, even on "hard". Here's a variation worth playing with (m/c plays white, horizontal is a-h, vertical is 1-8): d3 c3, c4 e4, f6 g7, c2 b2, d2 b4, f5 e6, c5... (See how it gave away g7 and b2?) You can have fun wiping out white altogether from there (or trying - it will fight back!) :) It's a fun app and a good intro to the game - recommended.

  • Excellent game

A great way to wile away some spare time, the AI is tough to beat but I love a challenge
  • Best Game is 48 to 0

Wow - I love this free game. I only play it on "hard" and have found an opening pattern that gives me the win 100% of the time unless I royally blow it. My best game is to win with black on the hard setting with a score of 48 to 0. I'm curious if anyone has gotten a better score? I'd like to get at least one game in with a 64 to 0 score as that would be another fun screen shot to collect. Like many other reviews, I wish that there was an undo "cheat" mode, that it would track your stats, and that there was an option for on-line play.

  • Superb! Only thing missing is an Un-do function

    Nicely designed, fun play.

Wish there were an undo, so one could take back a move and look at the previous config of the board to see what one missed!

Oh, one other thing. I like playing white, but you can't go first! Let us pick who goes first. Otherwise, how wonderful you provided this free--and without ads--that makes it a delight!

  • E6, G6, F5, H8 - medium

Simple. I wish there was a way to not only turn off the flipping animations, but also the fade out circle effect that showsaround the piece when placed. It seems like that slows it down for no other reason than eye candy. The gameplay in the previous version without the animation was much quicker. E6, g6, f5, h8 on medium will get you a corner in 4 moves every single time.

  • Morocco. That about sums it up.

While this game is free, you can't really complain, but as a whole, the game is just what it says. It's Morocco. The difficulty is a bit high, but the game itself is still re-playable. It's not complicated, and the graphics are okay. Overall, it's a getter for those who like thinking man's games and board games. It's free. so you have nothing to lose. It's best to play every once in a while, not all the time. It's good for quick little games.

Just don't complain when it's not what you want. It's Morocco. There you go. Don't like it? Don't get it.
