Your own “pocket stellarium”
This app really is elegant and easy to use. The only thing that keeps it from 5 out of 5 is the slippery clunkyness of the time and location interface. Fix that and PERHAPS icing on the cake add a geo specific horizon (solar parallax and proper motion drift? I don’t know) - THeN you have something to build another Stonehenge with!
All the same - you want to be able to “see” the path of the sun under the earth at night? The realm of Osiris made “real”? There’s this app for that. Totally enjoyable and useful ecliptic positions.

It's good. I've tried a dozen or so stargazing apps and i really like this one.
Best planetarium app regardless of expertise
This is my favourite planetarium app by far.
Easy to use, and the “find an object” and Wikipedia links are 2 of the many great features. A complete novice can master it in minutes and make you an expert of the night sky.

I have been using this app for years and it works every time! Accurate, consistent, fun and informative. It is the best one I have found for stargazing. It works on an old iPhone 6 as well as an iPad 9th gen.
Something is very wrong
I’m wondering why I see the sun showing on the app as if it has just gone down past the horizon in the west, while simultaneously watching it rise in the east with my own eyes? Broken
App appears to be abandoned
Privacy policy hasn't been updated since Apple required it starting last year.
Developer replied about app not being updated because it doesn't need to be updated. They are apparently the worlds best software developers and have made the perfect software that wouldn't benefit from new features and is also completely bug free.
They didn't address the lack of a privacy policy update. They could easily do that at least as a show of good will.

Hi, the app has not been abandoned. We monitor iOS updates to make sure the app still works and will release updates if required. The app from the beginning was designed to be simple for naked eye observing without adding functions that take away from the ease of use. No need to fix something that isn't broken.
Great software
Easy to use and accurate. The display really works well. Can really recommend this to anyone interest in Astronomy. Bill

I know its fun to draw dicks everywhere but how much would it cost you guys to change the logo? I would gladly share the app with friends and family if you change it. Gee I wish mine was flying!
