My god, these others reviewers must have IQs down in the 30s. A lot of them say "look at the iCal icon" but that is not the week number, that's the day of the month. These idiots should not be allowed to review these apps! Someone should delete these obviously INCORRECT reviews. They aren't even opinion, they are just lies due to ignorance. Gah!

Thanks for the app. Does just what I need.
For those of you who don't need the week number, just don't download it. There is no way (at least on the US iPhone) to get it.

Those who are criticising this app fail to recognise the usefulness of knowing which week of the year it is.
The beauty of Vecka is in that information being displayed on the app icon.
(Unfortunately the update broke the app and the icon no longer shows the current week).
Bitfield: It would also be extremely useful if we could select a date for week 1 since this would make the app useful for long term projects, for teachers and for students.
For these users week 1 does not usually occur between the 1st and 7th of January
Craig, your request for MMS may or may not be answered, but for me MMS is too limited and has a prohibitive cost per message.
I would find such an app significantly less useful than vecka
email is much more versatile. I can access it on all my devices and there is no cost, especially if I am within WiFi range

How often do you really need to know what week of the calendar year it is? If you could set it to your company's fiscal year it might be of some small use, but as is it's a waste of an icon on your phone.
