This is what I'm talking about. Simple little apps like this that make having an iPhone worth it. Next time my buddies say "how's it feel paying $70 a month for a phone?" I will just tell them, "Well at the end of the day I may have less money, but I can promise you that I have MORE COWBELL!!!"

I was a band member and this was the joke throught our school.. Now I have the cowbell in my hands and it's annoying to other people who don't know the whole story!

First off, the iPhone accelerometer is cool, but you don't play a cowbell by shaking it, you hit it with a drumstick! At least, that is how Will plays it on the skit, so this app is appropriate with the tapping. I love it! Entertaining and free-can't beat that. Definitely good for a laugh. Now if we could get some

Top notch
While the erstwhile simplicity of this musical instrument makes it appealing on a purely egalitarian level, the true pleasure from using this inspired piece of application programming is its consistency. It opens up with a simple but powerful delivery by the classically-trained actor Christopher Walken. Thereafter a screen is presented containing a large rendered bell, the kind which can be found upon your stereotypical dairy bovine. Actually *touching* said bell generates a pleasant sound simulating the real thing. It is highly responsive, able to handle as many measures as I could throw its way. Further, this application is highly stable; after many, many hours of usage I have not experienced a single crash.
If the adage "it is better to do one thing well than many things poorly" is taken as wisdom, then I say without hyperbole that this application is Buddha sitting upon his lotus.

this application is in the top of it's field, if you want a cowbell app, this is it!
Finally!! Takes the iPhone to a whole new level!
Much has been made about productivity programs, but this finally makes the iPhone the all in one device Apple claims it is. No longer do i have to carry my phone and cowbell in my pocket! Consolidation baby. 5 stars!

Funny and fun!
If you dig SNL and Christopher Walken, you'll dig this app. Does it exactly what it should do - tap the cowbell to play the cowbell. There's also a sample that seems to play at random intervals ("I gotta' have more cowbell!"). It would be fantastic to be able to turn this off. Good fun and very amusing.

Fantastic app
What a fantastic application, provides you with a cowbell that you tap to make a noise. Would be even better if it had a setting page so you could turn off the "I gotta have more cowbell" sample that randomly crops up.
