ughh
ok so as soon as i got this app i loved it. i loved the way you could have all your instant messaging things on one... aol, msn, yahoo, etc. well about the first hour or so it worked very well and then came the problems. it started freezing my ipod like crazy. i would try to listen to music while i was IMing people and it made my music skip and freeze. every time i would open the app it would shut back down and freeze my ipod for a few minutes. i did this for about a hour and then i was tired of it. i figured if i re-loaded the app on my itouch it would work again. well it did for the first hour and then froze my ipod once again. my friend has the same app and it froze her ipod perminantly. i do not recommend this app to anyone... if you want to IM, go to social networking and look for other instant messaging apps there. i hope apple finds this deffect to this app and fixes it!

It's great!
This app is pretty good, the only problem is I don't think that you can delete some of your contacts.
Some people have said that sometimes your contacts don't show up but I think that it's because no one is online and the setting is set to an option that doesn't allow you to view offline contacts, so that could be it.
Over all, it is a good idea to download this app! ^_^

Not too bad
I used this on an old phone ages ago so i was interested to try it.
I compare this with another free app called Fring. This app allow more than one account from the same message service & easy to invidually turn off & on. Fring does not.
This app does not require me to create an account to use it, just enter my message service credentials & start im'ing. Fring does.
The interface is not quite as pretty as Fring but it is simple to use & effective.
IM+ wins!

i use it for msn and it works for me BUT
my nickname that others see is very very old and there is no option to change it, which is really annoying because my nick is about harry potter which was a long time ago already. lol. also, its very confusing to use when in a group conversation. i couldn't tell if people were just talking to me or if it was a reply to the group. and if someone else is using the itouch/iphone they only get half the convo as well. otherwise, i quite like this app does the job for me, just a few points for improvement and it would be great.

The only one that has worked.
This is the 3rd app I have tried. The others were fring, which is naff, and the other was palringo I think... That also didn't work.
This one however is great. I was able to get on to msn really quickly. But... Can you get pictures on this? I'm not sure they work, so pictures would be nice. But I don't know if it does do them I just don't think so, that's why it's still 5 stars. And what is the deal with that person... Neonblack or something? Why do you need to add them at the start? Otherwise, this is a great app. :)

Great app
Great app, would like to be able to view the email address of conacts though...maybe in an update soon? Would love to upgrade to the full version but can't... Is it iPhone only?
Its good
Overall its good.
pros: quick connect on start up , the ability to engage in multiple conversations and to be able to go back and forth between them easily.
Cons: Still no Push. No way to rename your clients on a mobile phone (ie they are represented buy their phone #, not the nickname you put in for them)
The new version has a "lite" tag. This concerns me, since I feel that when PUSH does make its debut is going to included only on the paid version.
Update: my fears have been proven to be justified. The developers have pulled the " bait and switch" with only including the push with the paid version. I will look for another client since I really have grown distrustful of this company. I doubt if the developer actually reads these reviews, but if they do- rest assured that I will steer my freinds away from your program.

get a different app
I've tried this app and aim for im and while there are some advantages to this one, there are more disadvantages. really the one thing I like better about this one is the landscape keyboard and that's about it. you can't determine is contacts are online or mobile and it's important for me cause I don't want to go texting someone if I don't need to. also it doesn't so pictures or buddy icons. this is really annoying if you're using this app for myspace I'm because my friends change their name a lot and w/o pictures I can't tell who is who. and finally the most annoying thing in my opinion is that on the keyboard, the done needs to be changes to send. it's so annoying when everytime I go to send a message all that happens is that the keyboard just goes away. and then they go and change it
from a full version to a lite version. so if I were you I'd go with a different im app. I'm sticking with aim until beehive lowers their price or another cheap apps comes out with myspace im and aim.

Good but still buggy
This is the best app if your using msn
Pros: widescreen kb(very important to me)
Large clear text and speedy swap
Can read history of chat (unlike meebo)
Cons: still buggy even after upgrade like it won't connect until u open safari and browse for couple secs than reopen I mean come on thats realy annoying, also doesn't show pic of msn user like meebo I still prefer it over meebo cuz more reliable but can't an app out there do all the positives!!!! Thats why 4 stars (they need to let us give half stars too)

Apple's policy
For ppll saying to let this app run in the background, it is NOT possible b/c Apple doesn't allow it. You have to keep this app running at all times to get IM messages. That is one of the reasons why this developer is working on an email push feature
