Downloaded IM+ recently. Turns out, the all in one messaging app is very useful. I’ve added my WhatsApp, Messenger, and Telegram accounts without any issues.
The fortune wheel game is fun too. Love that I already won some Satoshis.

One of my favorite apps
Have been a long time IM+ user. Especially love the Mac app. Would be great to see the usability as on Mac.

Don't bother to get this app ...
This app keeps dying! Just when I think I'm getting an IM from someone I look and it says it's timed out!!' It even uses the same message alert you chose for messages, to tell you, "Sorry, your app has timed out. You will need to restart it." Seriously?
There's no option to have it stay alive continuously, which is what just about everybody who's using this app will want! And it's useless if anyone tries to reach you when it's "timed out" because now you're "offline"!!
Who steps away from their smartphone? It's "always" on, and it's always ready ... except for the IM+ app This app keeps dying! Just when I think I'm getting an IM from someone I look and it says it's timed out!!' Seriously?

If you're wanting something to be able to stay online and chat, I suggest you look for an app designed by someone who actually uses these apps and knows what you're looking for in a communications IM app.

Usability fine, capabilities now poor
This used to be an essential app for me but unfortunately, in the course of the last two years it's usefulness has been completely eroded.
First, Skype functionality was lost due to changes in the service. Last year Facebook changed to prohibit third party chat clients. So we started using Jabber to connect to Facebook. That lasted until a month or two ago when that also ceased to connect to Facebook. Many users have reported this, so I assume Facebook have also closed that access route for third party clients.
So that's now all the services I use that IM+ no longer works with. Shape also don't seem to be active on either Twitter or Facebook with any useful information. I regret not being able to use this app any more, as the buddy online notifications were incredibly useful, as was the chat history function.

Average With Flaws...
It's a good app and allows for multiple accounts which is cool. I initially installed it because of the ridiculous privacy terms and conditions you're forced into by using the Facebook Messenger app. Figuring this would be a great alternative I found I was only half right. The app doesn't allow for you to receive group based chats. It also won't 'fetch' any new or unread messages. Instead, it requires for you to be online at the time of that message or you won't get it at all. The app also automatically logs you out (presumably for server health) if you stay on for too long which means your friends can't message you hoping you'll eventually see their message.

The Clique
I actually came to know about this through a movie called 'The Clique' and an very surprised based on its ratings. It's really helped me interact and is far less complicated than Facebook etc. highly recommended
Good, but needs improvements.
This is a decent app. There's just a few bugs that will hopefully be fixed up really soon. For one, sometimes it doesn't connect. It just keeps loading and loading even if I have a perfect signal strength and wifi. Also, it doesn't like to send notifications a lot. Finally, there is nothing to separate messages between you and the other person, or between the several messages you've sent. I wish there was something to distinguish. Also the chat history doesn't go as far back as the AIM app or IMO would, which would be something nice to have back. However this is a less glitchy app than others. I just wish these bugs were fixed already, I've had them for years now.

Was going to jump ship to IM+...
Bought IM+ Pro yonks back but decided to use Beejive instead. Now that it's gone all hideous, I find that IM+P has been superseded by an ad supported version. Lame! Only from inside here do you find out about IM+ Pro7 which I suppose is reasonable to charge users again for a huge overhaul, but the cost for someone who has previously purchased the app leaves a bitter taste. I guess I'm feeling the white mans entitlement privilege. Four stars because I know I'm being a touch unreasonable.
