  • Great game when you have a few minutes to goof off.

A lot of gams have long splash pages or a ton of menus to select from. PapiJump starts up fast and gets you playing even faster. The game is simple, Papi jumps and you have to move your phone to get him to land on the next platform. Make sure you don't fall! Once the platform goes off screen, it's gone baby! The higher you go, the more spread out the platforms get. This game has a very simple concept and is very addicting. It's good for when you're waiting for someone and you only have a few minutes. There are a few things that I would change and that's why I'm giving 4 stars and not 5. The high scores are recorded online. That means, if you get a high score and want to record it, PapiJump closes and safari opens, loading a high score page. It's kind of annoying. It would be nice if the high scores were recorded locally. Also, once Papi falls, two buttons pop up, "Submit Score!" and "Back to Title". "Submit Score!" is on top. If the high scores become locally available, "Submit Score!" should be "Play Again!". Otherwise, you have to click on "Back to Title", then "Game Start". Seems like one unnecessary step. Also, it's natural for you to tap the top button because most games put the "Play Again!" button on top. You'll notice that you keep accidently presses the "Submit Score!" button. Other that, this is one of my favorite games!

  • Great little app

I love this app! It is just like the developer described, simple and addictive. I just have 1 minor issue with the app or better yet all the papi apps... I wish I didn't have to leave the game n have to go through the safari to record my score and see my place on the highscore list. Also I wish all the papi games were all in 1 bundle. Now that would be 5 stars, I'd pay for that!
Other then these simple things, good app thanx for making it!

  • Excellent game, some room for improvement

Great game, very highly addictive. I've played this more than anything else for the past week at least. The only things keeping it from a 5 is: a lack of a local high score list so I can see what I've done without the internet, having to go into safari to register the high scores, and a weird bug that degrades the quality of any music you are listening to while playing this game. Still a great game though, and I'm sure future updates will address this.

  • The Perfect iPhone Game

PapiJump is simple and addictive. Perfect for the iPhone because it feeds your need in line or just sitting around for a fun, simple yet challenging little game. With the update, it now includes as pause button while your playing. Hopefully soon the developer will include a local high score screen instead of having to use Safari. But otherwise my favorite app.

this game is good it makes me want to play it when I'm not playing it and when I am I want to play more of it it's like I can't get enough of this game there is a ball that bounces up how could it get better than that it couldn't that's how hahahabababjHaaaa if you don't have this get it if you do have it delete it and get it again that's how good it is it's like playing with a video games but freer and more fun to waste hours of time that could be spent being wasted on other dumber less pointless games that no one would really want to play anyway is anyone reading this? cuz this is prolly the dumbest thing anyone has ever said and if you are still reading that boggles my mind!

  • Simply the best free game on iTunes.

This game is so simple, but there in lies the fun. The only way they could make it better is to have a local (in the phone) score board instead of (or in conjunction with) the website score card. Maybe a bouncy sound, but that might prove distracting. I'd be happy with the high scores being listed in the phone, and an option to reset those. Otherwise, this is an awesome game.

  • Fun stuff

even my 78 year old mother enjoyed it while we were waiting for the doctor. I wish the 'play again' button wasn't 2 clicks away - should be the top button after the game ends - not "send results" - I've clicked that too many times and been taken to safari. Heck, they should just embed the browser so we don't have to leave the application.

  • READ!!!

The reason there's no pause button is because this is a game that everyone tries to get a highscore on. It's fast and hard (like me) and if you could pause then you could get your bearings and be able to go on and on through the game without dying! It's like football; if your about to get tackled, then your screwed, but if you "paused" time then you could look around, so the angle the tackler is coming at and easily juke him out. And horizontal play would mess up the ranking system. You'd have an advantage at vertical and all the people that play horizontal would have lower scores. That simple. Quit whining

  • Fantastic, entertaining, well executed

Old school gaming for those of us who grew up on Atari and the original nintendo. With a twist: the accelerometer makes any game more fun in my opinion, and this game usesit well.

Also, I've read reviews in which people say the accelerometer doesn't always work. My wife's 3G gets confused and out of alignment frequently, and there is a thread in Apple's forums about it. I don't think it is this game. Hoping a firmware/software update to iPhone OS 2.0.1 will fix accelerometer issue.

  • SO ADDICTIVE...

but what about highscores???? and difficulties (easy, medium, hard...) or levels maybe including (this just sounds fun to me) a no losing level or a "just for fun" level where when you fall the steps dont dissapear and you land on one and lose points for falling but you dont "die" until maybe youve fallen a certain number of times. and what about pause???? most games when you tap the screen it pauses... just suggestions that i would like but otherwise its still pretty fun game... :) THANKS FOR LISTENING (oh and click yes if you agree or like the ideas)
