Great concept, but suffers from performance issues.
This has all the makings of a great app; crisp graphics, decent sound, and fun gameplay on single player mode. However, multiplayer mode is unplayable. Even after a fresh reboot, multiplayer is incredibly laggy and quickly deteriorates into two people maniacally prodding at the screen to get their pucks to move. I hope two point touch detection is fixed in future versions, because multiplayer mode is really why I bought this app.

Almost perfect!
This game really is great, it's smooth, fast, challenging and just like the original hardware machines that it replicates.. but it's missing the simulated air (pump) sound which would make the whole experience that much better. If this was added as an option you could switch On or Off (for those that don't want the original noise of the air tables, if there could be anyone that way inclined!) then this would be the icing on the cake, along with maybe a WiFi wireless 2 player mode so that an opponent could'nt send your prized iPhone flying!

A very addictive and intuitive game, is fun to play singleplayer or with a friend. Worth the dollar, this is my favourite app on my phone.

This is playable first of all (I am on 2.0.1 Sept 9/08) For those who want to know.
Its enjoyable to a certain extent, for 99 cents i am not dissapointed. I'm not sure if there is a better hockey one out there though. Plays well and two players if fun as well. I would recommend this to others.
