This is one of these games like angry birds that once you start playing it, you end up buying the paid version because you know your going to play this for a long time :-) on expert and insane it's very intense if you no what I mean ....
Best app-store air hockey!
This version of air hockey seems to play better than every other one I've tried. It's too bad the game is so light on features. There isn't even a title screen, only a rudimentary menu.
Extremely well made.
I originally used the gold version with the annoying ads but then decided to get this. Wonderful gameplay, fun to just take a quick game on kiddie or get really into it on the harder levels. Love the new Game Center comparability and finally, I must admit this is THE BEST air hockey on the app store. Five stars for sure!
Update: The new update includes restarting your session in the pause menu. So useful! Now this app gets 6 stars!
Update: The 1 device multiplayer does NOT support multi-touch and so only 1 person can move their guy at a time, rendering multiplayer useless. Down to 4 stars.

Very very good
Great graphics, easy to pick up quickly, hard to master.
Good but needs a few changes
Very addictive but needs an option to retain your game preferences between matches, I.e. A repeat button. It's a bit irritating to have to keep selecting the same options over and over again.
Great game for the price!
I tried the gold version which is basically the same game, but you get an advert after each match. Decided it was well worth paying 59p for this real version as its really everything that an air hockey game should be.
My only minor gripe is that I dont like the way that 'new game' flashes up on the screen once you've played a match. There's a nice menu that offers you new game options imediately after this 'new game' message comes up, so it just seems to be a little in the way and out of feel with the rest of the game - take it out in an update maybe?

Fun game but...
This is a fun game but I have a question. On starting you get the option of selecting 2 Bluetooth players. I assumed this would enable me to play on my iphone against someone playing on my ipad. However both the iphone and ipad just constantly search for bluetooth devices but never connect with each other. What's the story here?

Awesome!
This is way better than the other air hockey apps with very fast gameplay, fun vsing insane difficulty. Well worth buying. 5 stars from me
Bluetooth Very Poor
As a one player game it's ok but I purchased 2 copies for bluetooth playing with the kids. 100% of the time the bluetooth fails sometime in the game even when sitting next to each other. Also needed to reload the game a few times as the Puck keeps disappearing and won't come back until you remove it from the phone then reload it through iTunes. iPhones are 3G & 3Gs.
