ZENTASTIC!!!!!
The most used game on my iPod - you can just zone out. I find it very relaxing at those times when you just can't turn your thoughts off. Many games have come and gone on my iPod and not one have I found worth the effort of giving a review or rating. It really is a great game!!
Like it ... but ...
I like this game but it lacks a level of complexity that would make it more challenging - accidentally tapping the screen twice reveals a clue too easily - a separate button would solve that - but the biggest flaw of this game is that it doesn't recognize alternative solutions. There's more than one solution for each puzzle but the game only recognizes one - I find that frustrating - so solve that and I'll be sold!!

Fun challenge
Love it!
Addictive and can loose track of time
It's fun and stimulates the mind. And be warned; you can loose track of time when playing this... Great for when your at home bored out of your skull, or simply passing the time when your on the bus or train... Or when your sat in the passenger seat when your partner is driving and nagging at you.. This game is brilliant and easy to use, and suitable for all ages :)

One word......awesome.
I downloaded the lite version and couldn't stop playing. The music and calmness of the game was so relaxing for me. I absolutely love this game and use the time to relax and unwind. I went on and bought the full version. My new favorite game. I also like how the developers really care about their customers. Kudos to you. Great game. Love that u can chill to the music it came with as well as my own. Like that i can sit calmly and have fun at the same time. Keep up the good work. ๎๎๎๎

Feb 20 update.....
I just had to update my last review. Still five stars. Got my son hooked as he has downloaded the game on his iPhone too. I played for hours yesterday and even longer today. He is hooked too. Hope you update more games cuz I may run out the rate I'm going. Thanks for a fun and relaxing way to unwind from daily life.

Entertaining
Not bad at all. 59p is excellent value. This is a deceptivly hard game, but a lot of fun.
However, it desperatly needs a splash of colour. The constand green and sand is quite depressing. Let's gets some nice bright colours for the different shapes. Also, a little annoying is the fact that the pieces don't auto fit to the palce you drop them. It would be nice if you made the background shadow actually fit exactly to the pieces and let them click into place.
Otherwise an excellent game, good fun and I give it 4 stars.

Well Implemented!
First and foremost, in Masters Mode, this app follows the classical tangram tradition of showing you a small template that you have to reproduce. Most tangram apps just have you fit the pieces in a background template like a puzzle which removes a significant amount of the difficulty.
The background texture is simple and appropriate. The pieces are well done and some color customization is possible. As many have noted already, there are more than enough puzzles to satisfy even the avid tangram fan like myself.
As to some of the items which could be improved:
(1) Pieces rotate at 15 degree angles. Perhaps these are needed in the really higher level puzzles that I haven't gotten to yet? Honestly, I don't understand this aspect at all and it can be very frustrating to rotate.
(2) Pieces do not "snap" together. It isn't easy to position these pieces where they need to be using nothing more than touch, especially when you have one of those clear protective covers that your fingers don't slide easily over. The game doesn't require the pieces to be perfect, but this issue can be annoying.
(3) Landscape only mode. It would be nice to have an option to use portrait.
If only TanZen and Tangram Pro would combine into 1 trangram app, it would be perfect! :)

Good puzzler for that quiet moment
Tan Zen is a good puzzler for that quiet moment. I purchased Tan Zen after trying the lite version. A great selection of shadows none of which are too complicated. The pieces are easy to move, rotate and postition. You can also see all the pieces on the same screen as the shadow you are attempting to fit the pieces into. There is a great tutorial to show you how to play (I found it hidden in the instruction menu). If you get interupted this app saves your screen so you can return to the puzzle later on. The status bar is shown so you can keep track of time and your iphone battery life. You can also listen to your ipod music when playing. Excellent puzzler that I have gotten good value for money from. I reviewed this puzzle game 1st Nov 2008.

Love this app. I keep coming back to it. If you can do one you should be able to do any of them. For some people they may find that it does't challenge them enough.

you can cheat if you want too.
TIP:-
when you double tap on top of the puzzle, its show you two hints at time. afterward you have to find rest of them. thats good.
even thogh you cant guess them,
just press home button n exit the game, scroll the home screen few times or wait few min, n start the game again, it will start the puzzle where you stopped.
double tap again. amaizing it will show you another two hints..
